What was so wrong with factions from destiny 1 and the exotic mark, cloak, bond that you had to make it once a month? And now it's just another noninteraction npc that is wasting space.
So hopefully Bungie will bring them back as normal factions like vanguard and crucible and hopefully there would be an exotic quest after you rank up to a specific rank.

265 通の返信Hey all, thank you for the continued feedback on this! (I've posted this line a few times today, so go ahead and roast me for the copy pasta...) We've been getting feedback on the absence of Factions/Faction Rallies since they went on hiatus last year. While I can't make any promises on if or when they'd return, I'd like to ask some questions here to help prioritize the feedback points that we've been collecting. 1. What are the aspects of Factions or Faction Rallies that you liked most? 2. What were features that you did not enjoy? 3. Have there been any other activities in Destiny or Destiny 2 that you thought Factions impacted in a good way? Ex: Lost Sector Grind - some people enjoyed it, while others really did not Thanks, -dmg

As many others have posted, I'd like to see a blend of D1 and D2 Factions. The background increase of levels (as Valor has for matches) and the Rally done once a month (that awards tokens to help speed up the progress) and also to award a Curated weapon or armor if a Guardian achieves a certain threshold or activities for the week (could be similar to Clan XP contribution but towards Factions or like bounties/activities completed similar to Flashpoints). Have them utilize a rotational of of items (even as Werner has currently for Y1 raid gear which rotates now) and maybe even have one daily or weekly bounty available each non-rally week. When Rallies week happens, expand to having more bounties of various activities (similar in number to the Gunsmith). Lost sectors got a bit old dealing just with those, but as others have also mentioned that patrols need some more love too in the game as a whole. In S3, trying to get to level 50 in one Faction just for the catalyst during the week was just too much and hectic, since you were locked into one faction for your one account (especially with only 3 Faction Rallies over the 4 month season instead of 4 due to an issue which I don't recall). Maybe do a new crucible mode during Rally week, mixing Rumble and Doubles, like 3 teams of 2, one for each faction. Or even greater than that to have 3 teams of Gambit playing each other. Even a competitive Strike list where you are trying to amass the highest score/kills/objective sounds doable. Have Rally week, Iron Banner and Elemental weeks happen on different weeks if able to (Events should be fine to overlap, but add to the bounty chores). Armsweek, which has been mined, would be nice to have too, maybe with the ability to replace a perk on a weapon/armor or weapon/armor with different perk pool rolls on it (after finding the items from events/bounties/bought outright; ie- strike fallen boss drops what you need or Shaxx gives item for 4 energy weapon kills of each element).

1 返信1. Factions should be character based not player based. 2. Shouldn't need to have a piece of faction armor equipped to get factions points 3. All activities including patrols, lost sectors, public events, strikes, crucible, and all forms of gambit should give faction points. 4. We should have full access to their inventory. (sparrow, ship, etc.) 5. The exotic class item shouldn't be a monthly grind to get. We should always have access to it. I don't care there is level requirement or if it's a quest reward.

1 返信I really likje the Faction set up in D1, haveing a weekly set of goals for a good piece of gear or a weapon, gave me sometging to do daily besides the normal stuff, the Rallies for Catiliasts and Prestiasge weapons also works, could be a week between Iron Banner and next event. Did not like haveing to pick 1 faction for al my Guardians, the gear lokd good on certian guardias, really liies Dead Orbit for my Hunter, FLC for my Warlock, and cant rember last faction my my titan rocked ther gear

I really want to see factions come back as a permanent thing. I run the dead Orbit facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TheDeadExodus/ if you want to check it out) and I wholeheartedly believe Factions should be just like D1. Where you could pledge yourself and work on them in conjunction with Vanguard and Crucible.

1 返信1. What are the aspects of Factions or Faction Rallies that you liked most? Yelling "My Renown!" as I died with a full stack. Seriously though, I enjoyed having a faction to join and a competition to be a part of game-wide. 2. What were features that you did not enjoy? I enjoyed there being a point in having factions and there having a faction to represent and a special reward to grind for. 3. Have there been any other activities in Destiny or Destiny 2 that you thought Factions impacted in a good way? I would love a straight faction / clan competition. I would love to be able to ally with other clans or against factions and have a competition for a reward (simiar to the catalysts or weapons we got in Faction Rallies) but give us something to compete for but in a friendly way. It's competitive and it adds a bit of fun to the game. This would be a great event to run with a special Crucible playlist with weapons/armor from your chosen faction only. Run with a FWC-only build. Even to the point of when someone joins that playlist, they'd be given a full set of armor and a set loadout to play with if they didn't have a full set. Or earn their way to a full set, starting with only having a kinetic weapon, then as you advance, get an energy weapon and finally a power weapon for that faction.

1 返信They really need to do something cool with it. The only thing is that if all three have good items then people will grind all three factions no loyalty

13 通の返信Give up on shitty devs. Far better idea. Bungie been pissing in your mouth with stripped content and time gates to extend playtime. How about not play the bad game and find a better one?
-
Someone made a suggestion that at least I thought was a good idea but I added to it. IB is a timed event that we all have a chance to collect specific loot. What if there was something set up like that in PvP for factions to give gamers something to grind for but they would have to ware normal faction gear to acquire the specific loot in the activity. When the event is not going leave faction in the game as they were placed at the tower with the opportunity to collect normal weapons/gear that would give the factions like D1 still a purpose. Bungie loves to use bounties so I don't think that would be too hard to add to the factions to acquire gear/weapons. Edit: If Bungie considered this it also could be set up on the off times IB is not around having 2 events adding more incentive to crucible.

Would like to see Factions return as a quest line to be completed over multiple seasons.... one for the grind long term with fairly regular faction specific rewards for progress. (Armour, guns and mods etc) Faster progress for fireteams of the same faction and for killing other factions in the crucible?

6 通の返信Guardian, Archon Of Lightにより編集済み: 7/18/2019 10:20:05 PMI would rather have the D1 Faction system Permanent vendors with there own loot, with rotating rolls. And to spice it up , have a monthly contest on which faction had the most tokens turned in at the end of the month
-
I didn't really care for Destiny 1 factions. They just sort of felt like an additional layer of loot on top of what we already had. Nothing was really special about them. I prefer faction rallies, but I think the best solution would be a hybrid between the two. I saw a suggestion from someone on another post that I really liked. Factions would be like they were in Destiny 1, and near the end of each season there would be a faction rally event.

Go back to the D1 system where you pledge your loyalty to a faction once a week. They should have bounties that can be completed in BOTH PvE/PvP (i.e. kills in crucible = 20 hunters/fallen kills = 100, 15 hand cannon headshots PvP/ 75 hand cannon headshots in strike playlist, and so on). Once you've redeemed 10 or 20 faction packages, there should be weekly bounties that offer powerful gear; no more than three split between PvE (raid excluded), Crucible, and Gambit. When Iron Banner rolls around, the PvP bounties can/should be tweeked to include (or require, if you will) playing that activity. The reward system should mirror that of the Vanguard/Crucible system. When you engage in the main three faction activities (Strike playlist and Nightfalls/Crucible/Gambit), the tokens you receive from N.M./F.W.C./D.O. match the exact amount you normally get from said activity, while taking into account the use of consumables.

3 通の返信Some kind of “faction war” 50v50 in the middle of the EDZ or something would be cool

1 返信Faction rally was so boring. IMO. They need to focus on bringing Trails back and that comes from a frecking PvE player xD
