I love Destiny 2 in its current state and looking forward to more. Thank you Bungie for ignoring the trolls and listening to the right people. Keep up the good work.

The grind needs to be redone, it’s extreme. Nobody is saying to make things easier but time rewarding. Simply put we have jobs and Destiny isn’t one. I want to get on do the bounties and something like Gambit or menagerie. Not put on a farmer hat to simulate being under a greedy ruler. Not to mention the bounties are becoming more like chores, especially calus. Likely Halo fun not grind your face off to get gear that worthless most of the time.

PAPASITO 30により編集済み: 7/18/2019 11:13:24 PMWhat is it that you are after. I would say other than Not Forgotten, Mountaintop. Everything in this game is easily acquirable. And I don't expect things to be handed to me. I get what you mean about grinds. But if you can structure your playtime to go along with grind and gear your character with right perks to help you achieve those things, then there shouldn't be any reason not to. For example I used to be terrible player in Crucible. I grinded comp to get Luna and Recluse or Revoker, and now grinding for Mountaintop. I thought I would never achieve those things because I was a mediocre player. But practice makes perfect, and even a bad player can get decent enough to earn those things with right mindset, an using the right gear for the map, long or short range, and using all your powerful abilities and playing to your strengths. I think there are many games that offer different kinds of grinds, Warframe for example has many grinds, and if at the end of the grind you get something good, then all the power to you. I don't like the grinds like we had before where you had to grind Factions just to get 1 catalyst or helmet ornament, but I have no issue with current grinds. Things like Wendigo, and Loaded Question. You can get a decent Dust Rock or Erentil from Menagerie to get you going. You can grind gambit to get a decent Bygones or Trust to get you started. There are ways to get to where you need to be in this game, people are who are willing to get the things they want and have minimal time and skill can still achieve them.

Um your comment makes no sense. Your simplifying way to much. It’s not about gear you run, skill, or structuring time. You have the Osiris rng collections taking people months to do. This is simply because repeat items are extreme. Lending to artificial time. Setting it to be no more than 5 repeat chances per 40 nodes. This would still have a grind but a hard wall present, assume total 40 hours for fun. In light of paragraphs, please notice how useful they are. Collecting items like resources need to be bumped up. Maybe 1-2 more than normal as the demand is constant need now. This would lend well to players enjoying an actual event like say Gambit, Menagerie, Crucible, and so on. It would be just enough improvement that those with 1-3 hours a night can accomplish things in the game in a few months Not year plus. Yea RNG has held people back this long. Additionally as pointed out not a single achievement, tribute, emblem, nor badge be tied to RNG. As this is a progress to effort in reward out. Nothing in the game that is multi-tiers in collecting or earning should be tied to RNG. Example is crucible tribute have a task to do or X. Now the goal point is weapons or gear. Yes if it’s competition crucible of course you need to get fabled. This is not the grind most complain about. Even mountain top I believe ludicrous levels of grenade launcher kills in strikes is fine. There is an eventuality to get it just by playing. It’s artificial game play stretching that is the issue. If it’s a task needing 8 hours plus of effort it cant be relegated to chance but a guarantee via a controllable task. Like winning to get crucible valor. Not all guns should be available for little effort, but that effort can not be allowed more than two weeks of an hour day play efforts. Simply put we are here for fun not a second job we don’t get paid and the boss obsoletes that effort in 2 months anyway.

Oh you are speaking in regards to the pointless titles. Can I ask you a question. 5 years from now will you care if you achieved those titles? Yes or no? Would you rather have taken that time and invested it into grinding out fun weapons or had a title which by looks of it won't even matter as Shadowkeep is the last big DLC from D2. And probably a year after Destiny 3 will be out. You have to use your time wisely. Don't worry about getting these pointless titles. You will see later that you don't need them.

Nope titles just like the ghosts. To me those show your really playing Destiny or at the very least after the lore. The guns are fine, but seeing actual progress is desired by most. That recluse or mountain top at this point has a high nerf chance. Both actually matter but one demonstrates you’ve played it’s entirety not just gun grabbing. Every gun has some good function. I for one stick to ones I’ve master-worked as it helps the team much more.
-
Well right now Recluse and Mountaintop are the best PVE guns as well and come masterworked right out of the gate. Every gun has some good function sure, but if you are using inferior guns and expecting to win, then you are limiting your team.

Well I’m almost always earning kills combined of other two members each go. So my gear is doing quite alright. Lately I run oxygen with firefly amplify in menagerie which does very well on some encounters. Otherwise prefer double shotgun build or duel linear. No intention of being bound to some joes meta build.

PAPASITO 30により編集済み: 7/18/2019 11:11:48 PMYep but what game is perfect. I have a long list of suggestions, which may or may not be implemented but I am not worried about it. There are more important things to worry about than a video game.
