I have to say this post, while have some valid points (which I agree) is just so biased. People should do some research before they believe everything you said... no facts, just feelings So I am going to focus in these points you mentioned below - Stop matching me against people in the 4000 and 5000 Glory range. I'm not in that range. - Stop matching me against people who are sitting at 5500 and have their NF already. - Stop matching me against 4 stacks if I'm solo queuing. I'd love to have friends that play comp, but everyone of you use a different stat checker and base your compatibility on that. One says I have a 1.17 another says I have a 1.3. That doesn't help either, but that's not your fault. ok so where do I start, lets see, I checked all your game in the last 24h (give or take), they are below First - Of those games I only found 1 person with a NF and had a glory rank BELOW yours!!! Second - You keep saying to stop putting you against a stack of 4 when you are solo queuing (which is what it seems to happen when you played against this NF guy, he was in a team of 4, with a glory rank between 1100 to 1500, so I am guessing he was either helping them out or recovs, hard to tell since this guys are still very low Glory rank and a good PvP player can go to 2100 with a stack team in less than 20 games, so it seems more like a guy helping others. All the games before except for the last one shown are you with another 2 players, so you were playing on a 3 MEN STACK team against mostly randoms.... Third - On all your matches you were always paired against teams either within your rank or below, only once or two exceptions when you were paired against someone above your Glory rank, and they were on the 3300s NEVER on their 5000-5500. So please, quit your drama, the fact that someone has the NF doesnt mean he is on a 5000 legend rank, seriously sickens me the way you talk as well so disrispectful towards everyone. I get it, you have a bad day in Comp, I understand, get over it and next time, take a break, sleep over it and stop being such a baby. Glory 2696 - Using NF Now I am not saying Ranked MM is perfect, I dont play comp enough so I cant say, but based on your numbers it doesnt seem to be an issue to me... maybe I should go back a month and bring up all the data and see? I was asked by the OP to go back further as it seems that the last 24 hours does not reflect the reality of his situation, therefore I have (after he set his privacy back to off) looked at the last 15 losses... As you can see below and while I noticed a good few games against NF, none of them were on the 5000-5500 bracket, the highest ranked players I have seen was on the 4400 who was not using NF, most of them were in the 3000-3700 bracket. I also have to say that for a while he was paired up against higher ranked players (as they currently are, hard to know if they were in a lower rank back then) but NONE were on the 5000-5500 range. I could go back further but I honestly dont see a point. It is was as common as he said I should be able to see them clearly. You’re wasting your breath. Everyone knows “comp” is a joke. No veteran of true competitive arena shooters takes destiny seriously as a legitimate pvp experience. It’s loaded with cheese and programmed imbalance. The only people denying this are the people who benefit from this system and you’re not going to change their mind. Either way you’re unfortunately not accomplishing anything.

Here's some actual advice instead of the salty shitfest that is this post and it's replies. 1. Play with a team. There is no excuse for not doing so. There are LFG services for every platform and you can message people on your team and ask if they want to party up. If you both played well, they probably will. If you [i]choose[/i] to play solo, you are accepting the reality that you will probably be at a disadvantage when up against a coordinated team. 2. Become the teammate you would want to play with. Can you three tap your opponent? Good. Can you three tap them while calling out where they are? While you tell your team what you intend to do next? While calling out where the enemy team is spawning? While calling out the time left on the power ammo spawn? I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at. If you want to play with high caliber players, you have to become a high caliber player. 3. Comp is the PvP endgame. The raids are learnable, but a human opponent will always improve. See comp as a means to become a better team player and a better player overall. If you see comp as a chore, simply a means to an end to unlock the pinnacle weapons, you'll play worse, and get frustrated easier. 4. You probably aren't as good as you think you are, especially if you think you're better than your current teammates. If you lose a match, you shouldn't be like 'WoW mY teAM WeRe So BaD!" You should be like "how could I have played that better?" You won't learn anything if you don't own up to your mistakes. 5. Use the meta, and don't make up imaginary rules. Don't be that guy who is like "oh, I'm above using shotguns because they're a crutch." If you aren't using what you are most effective with, then you are a detriment to your team. 6. Take breaks. If you lose more than one game in a row, stop playing. Come back tomorrow or even just later in the day. You will not overcome tilt by just "playing harder." Continuing to play like this is how a 70 point loss turns in a 400 point loss. Be smart and don't wear yourself out. I must've seen hundreds of posts like OP at this point. Yes, parts of Competitive are bullshit, but they're bullshit for everyone. The game isn't "rigged" against you and you need to take your Spinfoil hats off. Whenever people make posts like this it's usually because they just came off of a losing streak and all it really accomplishes is making the poster look like a big whiny baby.

Thinks i learned while grinding my recluse 1) if you can, play with a team, 3 or 4 stack. 2 stacks work as good as solo. If you cant team up, lobby farm. If it goes from 1 to 5 back out. If it goes 1 to 4 to 8 back out. Big jumps are likely a stack and you will get demolished. 2) if you solo dont expect a carry, 95% of the time it wont happen. So youre just gonna have to carry yourself. Nobody in this uses voice chat, dont expect any form of call out. Just messages from people that think theyre good calling you trash. Thats the only communucation youll get. 3) Stay with your team. If 2 run off one way and 1 guy trys to be a hero, let him die. Go with the other 2 because 3 is better than 2 is better than 1. Dont be the guy that tries to play rambo, youre gonna die and look like an idiot most of the time. Stick with your team and team shot. 4) Unless youre a god at sniping dont peek lanes, just rush by it, jump, blink, slide, whatever you gotta do to make you as hard to hit as possible. If you peek a lane or step out and see a sniper, find another route. The second you repeek youre dead because hes already got LoS and head height so hes just gonna dome you. 5) If you see someone rushing without care its 1 of 2 things. A) super rush B) shotgun rush. Back off let and force them to come to you. Or if you can back off to your team, again the more of you the better. If its a romaing super good luck becuase bungie is lazy and isnt nerfing them until you pay another $60 for shadowkeep. Comp is extremely broken right now, and that doesnt include how bungie made it worse when they patched the menag chest that nobody wanted patched. So youre going to struggle in comp unless youre a god tier player. It took me 3 days and 14hrs to get recluse. Right now is not the best time to do it. But if you can get yourself up to 1980 stop, reset will get it for you. Play your 3 matches a week and dont quit and youll get glory at every reset.

They need to separate Quickplay and Comp and maybe even have a pinnacle weapon for each. They could even make it two versions of the same gun, but the QP version would be outmatched by the comp version. I feel comp should be for the better players. I don't queue into comp (with or without a team) expecting to rattle off some crazy win streak. I'm not a good PvP player so my expectations are low. I do like some of the comp modes though. Quickplay apparently only consists of control recently, at least for me. Pinnacle PvP weapons should be relevant in PvP and nothing else. They should be trash in PvE or average at best. That way, unless your a completionist, there isn't any draw for you to go into comp PvP just to get a weapon or a feeling of I'm getting screwed out of this great PvE gun because I suck at PvP. Plus it would reward the higher tier PvP player for being that good with a weapon that makes them that much better. Also PvP should be split up into two arenas. QP for PvP fun (casual) where metas don't reign supreme. The most fun I've had in PvP is private matches where we use DIM to randomize our load outs. Comp (hardcore) should be balls to the walls, meta heavy, if you suck your don't belong here type mode. Something to strive for as a PvP player. High level PvP players shouldn't be able to queue into QP just to destroy low level PvP players, so there would need to be some kind of way to balance them out when they do. It could be not allowing certain weapons or weapon types to keep the comp meta from bleeding into QP. might be hard to accomplish though. If you give both groups something, people may play PvP more and there may actually be an increase in players who become more proficient in PvP and want to get to the point where they aren't smashed in comp. just a thought.

This guy is so on point! I suck at crucible, but I managed to get up to 1300+ points yesterday which is the highest I have ever gotten to. Guess what? Quit being scared of 4 stacks in solo queue. It means they’re worse than you. I’ve solo queued for every pinnacle weapon except not forgotten (including Claymore). I am super average, or even below average in pvp. A few times I’ve gotten a team together and it never goes well, much tougher solo opponents when you queue as a stack. Solo queue is where it’s at.

The only thing wrong with comp is the matchmaking, it shouldn’t allow you to join a match with less than a full team and anyone who backs out shouldn’t be able to join a match for 24 hours. Stop solo queing and expecting to win and have everything in your favor, and stop joining posts that you know you won’t fret into, make your own or stick to Quickplay and leave the pinnacle weapons to the players who have the brains to work around issues.
