Bring back our D1 subclass structures.
In other words, just bring the D1 sub class structure... How it should have been from day one, not this super restrictive, structured, hollow sub class structure we have now, that is to bungies taste and decision, as opposed to our own! I hate the D2 sub class structure, it's horrible.... Isn't one of the sayings "create your own destiny", bit hard to when it's so linear and restrictive. I'll be extremely disappointed if the class structure is the same in shadow keep...

2 通の返信No, stop trying to go back to an imperfect system just because you think it’s better than what we have now. Make suggestions to improve it and make it better than it ever was, not go back to something that much like it is now was ok at best. If we’re gonna by to ask for changes ask for something innovative instead of something retroactive. What I personally would like to see is for them to put everything on one page and let you pick what melee you want out of all the melees, what grenade out of all of them, same with supers, jumps and class ability modifying perks. That way you could mix and match elemental abilities and use exactly what you want. I also want a way to build on abilities and make them stronger after they’re unlocked, maybe even unlock second charges and that never existed in either game. We need to be more thoughtful about the suggestions we make and make suggestions to improve the game, not just try to turn it into d1. Both systems had room for improvements and going back would not be a positive in the long term because I believe the current system can more easily be improved upon. If making the current system better doesn’t seem viable I think a rework would be a better option than implementing the d1 system, that shouldn’t even be considered.

You want something different than d2’s current system? Alright, cool I can understand that. But you must realize that d1’s system was almost exactly what we have now except it was more cluttered and hard to look at. There were always 2 or 3 different sets of perks you would choose for each class and experimenting would usually lead to having useless perks that didn’t synchronize with the other perks you had. Can you people stop asking for a vastly inferior system and instead ask for something new and innovative?! It can’t possibly be that hard.

And add at least a dozen stats, some of which should be class exclusive. I want my class to be a class that is a defined role that helps. Not some temporary press one button shit that kinda helps but isn't really needed. Classes are entirely interchangeable. Which means they lack depth.

Some of the perks in d2 are so powerful it would be broken combined with other perks I prefer the d1 system but it would be to broken in d2. Somebody on reddit made a perk tree that combines the best of both worlds I’ll link it when I find it

Just like bounties, bet you all love flying to each destination for the loading screens like it's sonic 2006. When are you guys just going to get to the part where you actually think about an improvement? Believe it or not D1 was no different in the mediocre department.

I'd like an updated D1 subclass structure for pve. Think pvp would need to stay as fixed subclasses though. As a Titan Striker it would really be nice to be able to pick and choose between running a roving super or Thundercrash and at the sametime be able to pick which melee ability I'd like to use for each super instead of the fixed choices I have now in pve.

So many more fun sets could be created if they took ALL the current perks and let us choose 1 from each slot out of the 3 trees.
