There’s already been speculation about that. The general consensus is that Saitama could sweep through the Dragon Ball universe with minimal effort. He has 0 weaknesses. There are 0 flaws in his powers. He’s resilient to the point that he isn’t phased by any sort of attack of any strength and strong enough to the point where any effortful punch can reduce any living thing to a pile of chunks. Nothing would stand a chance against him. [spoiler]Except maybe Giorno Giovanna, but not enough about the extent of his abilities are known.[/spoiler]

The general consenus I heard is Saitama was about on the level of Frieza. Besides, Buu could regenerate from anything Saitama could throw at him. All he’d need to do is carry him out to space, and let him suffocate.

Saitama can breathe in space. Also Buu couldn’t regenerate if there wasn’t any of him to regenerate. A very similar scenario happened in the final fight of the first season where some all powerful alien dude that conquered entire galaxies single handedly came to earth. He wrecked all the other S class heroes rather easily, then Saitama came in. He screwed around a bit with the alien dude, who was going all out with a bunch of giant planet destroying energy attacks that failed to scratch Saitama. He could regenerate too; Saitama deleted one of his arms, which he regrew in an instant and continued the fight. He knocked Saitama to the moon, which again didn’t phase him. His final attack on Saitama was a giant, DBZ-esque energy wave said to be capable of destroying a planet. Saitama deflected it like it was nothing, and ended the fight with a serious punch, which wounded the alien dude beyond the point of regeneration. But that’s the thing, Buu can regenerate from individual molecules. It took the life energy of everyone in the entire universe channeled into a single attack to take him down. Buu’s level of regeneration is absolutely insane. Plus he could turn Saitama to candy. Also, since when can Saitama breathe in space? I remember very clearly during the Boros fight he had to hold his breath jumping back from the moon.

Oh did he hold his breath? It’s been a while since I actually watched the fight. And I forgot Chocolate Beam was a thing, so yeah I guess Buu could beat Saitama. That’s not what the original comment was about but ok lol

Oh, I definitely agree he could beat anyone in the MCU. Original comics maybe not, but I’m not too knowledgable there. But, yeah, I was mainly adressing the “there’s no beating him” point. Saitama’s very, very, very, very, [i]very[/i] strong, but I don’t like when people act like he’s unbeatable. Nobody he faces can stand up against him, but he also doesn’t face anyone super strong (except Boros), either.

Don't lie. You would very much like to see him take out each entity in the mcu, as they talk about things with more than 20 words at the start of each fight.
