I hate the Crucible. It is never about skill, it’s about using whatever BS is OP at the time and killing way too fast and being impossible to kill. Those who focus Crucible will say it’s fun because they have that BS and know how to use it, while the rest of us who mainly play PvE are forced to play for quests or bounties. The trouble isn’t a few balance issues with gear or abilities to work out, it’s that the system is flawed as at its core. They designed a really good PvE game where different classes offer a variety of diverse abilities that work well together, and have a gear system that lets you collect great armor and weapons, and exotics with unique interesting perks, then they said “okay now use all that against each other.” You cannot do that and have it balanced. Certain abilities are just too good against other players. Certain guns are just too good against players. Gambit was a cool idea but then everybody quickly learned what weapons are unbeatable for invading and now it’s all about what weapon can one-shot people from a distance. I think Destiny PvE is beautifully designed and works great, but once you pit the classes and gear against one another you get frustrating metas, and forcing players who don’t even like that part of the game to do specific tasks only makes it worse. Crucible is sometimes bearable when I’m just playing to play matches, but when I play for a quest it’s usually like “get kills with void hand cannons” so I have to restrict my loadout to fit that and I’m now at a disadvantage in fighting. I want less quests to require specific PvP actions, since Crucible will never change enough that people won’t be miserable to play it.

I never liked Crucible and I don't care what it has to offer in trinkets..... I won't play it. As I and many have said, you shouldn't have to play a part of the game you hate to get something you want. Sorry but Bungie has been tone def for so long, I doubt they will wise up before this game dies.

Crucible is trash I swear. I get kicked out for no reason and they punish me saying I left the game.

Ten years ago Bungie were unparalleled in the multiplayer space, now they can barely create a functional game of team deathmatch.

I think it is an endless wish to make it balanced. The fact is that it never will be. There will always be a meta to play with. If they nerf one weapon automatically other weapons will become the new meta. What would make it better and more fun is more skilled weapons instead of these weapons that you almost don't have to aim, using special ammo and are a 1 hit kill. Maybe not everybody agrees but I would definitely would love to see the amount of power ammo being reduced. Also this competitive system is broken with the points loss, it always ends up in frustration because players leave. Also the points reset every season and the 5500 cap mess up the fair matchmaking. It definitely has nothing to do with competitive whatsoever. It is just built a way that only a few chosen crucible gods (or cheaters) can require the Not Forgotten.

Is asking for balance a bad thing, a chance to gain without it being -blam!-ing bs. I feel like if half of you feels like this the next expansion should be boycotted. Im on the fence still but my friends play and they hate pvp.

Crucible is extremely slow right now compared to other games. Hell even recently I've had matches where it takes the entire 10 minutes just to end the match.

I am constantly getting put in spectator mode, while in competitive crucible matches, it’s making it completely impossible to get recluse as I keep losing ranking over this, fix this NOW BUNGIE all players effected should be given the quest

I'm just glad that nine of the steps for redrix's broadsword require wins. At least I'll be able to get a crucible pinnacle weapon for Moments of Triumph. Right now I'm on the complete 25 quick play, rumble, and competive matches and some of the people I get on my team are worse than me and that is pretty bad. Have 13 bounties ready to claim for the complete 20 bounties portion so if I don't get more bounties I can pick up by then I'll only have to wait 2 days instead of 4 and then I'll have it since I have my 5 valor resets in a season. Then I can go back to playing for fun in my scrub PvE environment and leave PvP to the basement dwellers. Lol

They need to nerf all hand cannons and pulse rifles and move shotguns fusion and snipers to the Heavy slot and bring back last hope but as an exotic called full hope and its akimbo and it shoots last word bullets with house of wolves damage and after the shots hit Wolfpack rounds come out then will crucible be enjoyable.

Absolutely ridiculous matchmaking of Diamond players vs Silver, even in Rumble (1v1). Someone at Bungie should be in front of a firing squad. Not to mention half the players are AFK, jumping up and down via macro in a corner. Jesus Christ.

But its " fine" for the people who play it all the time, and have TTK advantage with their gear.
