I think that the chest exploit made the menagerie more fun since it allowed for easier grinding, and I’m pretty sure most people agree with me when I say that the chest exploit at the end of the menagerie made it much more fun. I would like to see this return, and I think it, or something like it (maybe limiting it to 3) would be beneficial for the menagerie.
Edit: The comments did a great job of highlighting that there would be no way that they would keep something like this in the game. They also highlighted that the passage above was more of a butthurt rant whining about the chest patch, which is 100% true. I think that the idea to give extra chests for flawless encounters is a good idea. To add on to this idea I would say that each chest after the first one should double in the amount of runes required per slot. This would help players spend all of the runes that they have been accumulating since the patch.

The chalice never gave high power gear after the first few pieces anyway. Bungie need to stop been so restrictive and tight. Same with infusion and cores.

Just give players the amount of loot they deserve 3 rewards if its completed flawless. 2 rewards if they did one flawless encounter. 1 reward for normal completions. Oh and have a chance to refund runes without having the chalice upgrade

2 通の返信Personally, I don't want it back. But the way they "fixed" it was a gross overcorrection. I like the solution other people have said, add an extra chest for every flawless encounter.

I think if the glitch never happened than people would be fine with normal runs and it would still feel rewarding. If anyone knows this it’s all the people who played D1 who ran strikes for a chance at a particular weapon using chest keys. I don’t see it as being needy or gear hungry, but people became accommodated to the amount of loot from the menagerie, getting 4-6 drops per run. They could’ve just made it so that you could open the chest an additional time for each round finished with time remaining, but at the end of the day, just be glad we had the glitch for as long as we did.

So you're asking for an "exploit" in the game that should have never been there in the first place. Bungie was gracious enough to leave it alone for awhile. While your at it, ask for the prime glitch, core glitch, juju glitch etc., too. 😐
