What about grinding pvp for the sake of enjoyment, for playing against people with similar skill level to you? I'm kinda average, barely got to 2100 last season for Luna's Howl and Recluse. Now I have Revoker but am sitting at 800 glory. So I gained a total of 3500 points but lost 2300. Since wins are more points up than losses are points down, I have about a 50% win rate. But for good players, and players who have a full team that they play with regularly, it can get boring to stomp in QP all the time, and they might want to face against people at their level. That's what comp is for. People often lose sight of why comp was made in the first place and only see it for the pinnacle weapons. That's all I have to say about that :)

I wanna point out the stupidity in what you just said. People in masses were complaining about people abusing lunas in qp. Youre here complaining about people using lunas in comp being gate keepers. Where the hell were they supposed to use it? And also gatekeepers? If youre good youll beat the worse person without using a pinnacle weapon. Just more salty pve players angry that something takes more effort than shooting at a boss that takes up half your screen and barely moves. Youre an embarrassment

I have a higher comp k/d than you, and a higher quickplay k/d than you. I can have an opinion on gatekeepers. They don't need to be the only people with pinnacle weapons.

You can use them in comp, fine. But when someone has 10K kills on a weapon like NF they need to give it a rest. I've seen dozens of people using NF with over 10K crucible kills on the tracker. That's pathetic, not admirable. It's the definition of gatekeeper. They need to learn how to use other weapons. There's a plethora of non crutch weapons that these so called "actual good pvp players" could use, but they don't. I never said anyone couldn't use them in quickplay, so stop comparing those people to me, dumba$$.
