It’s weird. Feels like something’s always in my eye. Can’t see as well as with glasses. Right now it’s a 5/10

Sweet! You get used to them. I only stopped wearing them because I was too lazy to take them out at night. I got tired fast and by that time I’d rather just take my glasses off and put them on the table or other side of my bed under a pillow.

I wish I could wear contacts. Unfortunately, the second anything gets within 5 inches of my eyes, they start blinking rapidly, and then shut tight the closer the object gets to their proximity. I’d need 4-6 hands just to get them into my eyes. About 3 or so years after I first started wearing glasses, my only pair of glasses got destroyed, so my optometrist gave me about a dozen contacts to use while they got my new glasses ready. I wasn’t able to get a single one in my eyes.

I guess it takes time to get used to them. I agree that they'd feel wierd at first, but the same thing can be said for braces, but as long as they help you see better then that's good. Plus you don't haave to worry abut your glasses getting dirty all the time.
