Yeah, the engine is just that old and buggy. This is why it pays to invest in a better engine or make one yourself. If you made it or you bought one that's user friendly and useful, you can get things done both faster and more easily. Instead, Bungie opted to use a ramshackle version of an old engine and thought it'd be fine, and now where are they? People can be snide about console hardware all they want, but there's TONS of games that load perfectly fine on consoles. This game's engine is just that bad. They couldn't even manage to figure out how to stop the build from crashing every time they simply allowed Sparrows in the roaming area of Mercury. Like, really?
