I made a post the other day about something similar to this but it didn’t get much attention. But I’m really wanting some more subclasses and supers, even if that means adding some new elements to the game.
My dream honestly though? A fourth class. But that probably won’t happen.

ClexMixにより編集済み: 6/18/2019 7:28:27 AMIt’s highly unlikely to get a new class for the time being, and getting new supers would be nice to but it might fall under the same difficulty of trying to find any balance in the game where so much goes by the wayside. I remember when rise of iron came out in destiny 1 and we got the new subclasses for the 3 classes allowing access to the third element. Unless they totally bring a new element to the game I’m not sure we’ll see a 4th class or new supers for a while

ClexMixにより編集済み: 6/18/2019 8:57:38 AMI have an idea for a 4th class called reavers, not sure about how it would work but the core concept was they would be able to do extra damage to enemy shields in pve and for pvp it could be done through grenades and melee. Their class abilities could be a rift type area of effect that gives the party the ability to do extra damage to shields (useful for nightfalls and special runs like whisper and zero hour) or a self buff that allows the Reaver to do even more to enemy shields and if using a weapon with the same energy burn the shield explosion on enemies could be bigger and do double damage to surrounding enemies. Their supers could be something like the titan missile that leaves a crippling field that removes shields of any enemies crossing through and adds a bleed to the targets. Another could be a roaming super in which they wield a blade that on hit does extra damage to shields adds a bleed and can hit through certain immune effects, like taken goblins’ shields. Not sure if they should be element based or as a drawback for playing them should be they just do bleed type effects that that deal damage to shields or if they are element based at all only their current spec is what can do extra damage to those shields. As far as other classes go the other I’ve thought of could be something like Eris Morne, where they’ve used hive magic to enhance their abilities with certain drawbacks.

Let me add I never played D1 since it didn’t come out on PC. That being said, I know we’ll probably never get a fourth class but it’s still my dream. I’ve even worked out what it could be in my head, but I digress. As far as new elements, I expected one sooner. Like when warmind came out and they made a big deal about the frozen hive I expected an ice element. Or getting the hive green fire element. I know they plan on eventually making a darkness subclass for D3 but I kind of hope we get it.

Guess I haven’t heard much on darkness subclasses. But up until taken king (I said Rise of iron before but I meant TTK) Titans only had arc and void, warlocks only had fire and void, and hunters only had arc and fire. Each class got the new subclasses/supers. Nightstalkers, Hammers titans and Sith Lord warlocks.

If they were to add new supers to each subclass I think they’d have to take into account the current ones. Arc warlocks would need an instant super ie nova bomb type use, same with fire titans. I think solar hunters should get a roaming melee super and arc hunters should get like a giant arc spear. Honestly some of the supers they released with Forsaken were shit with little to no effort put into them it seems. I think they could have done far better if they had more time or didn’t have activision up their asses.
