Providing info incase it's useful to a fix. Can confirm same error here as well. No longer the "You are either am existing player, or a new player with an existing bond" error. Now getting "We encountered an error, please try again" when attempting to confirm link. Might be an important distinction. In any case, new error coming after post of fix, and my vet player friend generated a new code. The accept link does appear in my refer-a-friend section without having to click the link again. It was not before and would only say I was eligible to be linked to a vet account.

My friend is also seeing the same error when trying to accept the links I've sent him. Tried deleting and re-creating links, and had him clear browser cookies/cache before accepting. Still no dice, hopefully this gets looked at again before the now 14days are up.

I saw in another thread they had pushed through a fix, but my friend is getting this message too now (it was a different error before).

I am the friend here and can confirm I'm still getting the error as of this morning!
