1. Killing targets with bows, no matter how big they are (shielded red health bars and above) only counts as one bow kill. It should work on a sliding scale. For both kills and precision kills. Shielded reds can count as 2, unshielded yellow bar add as 2, majors as 5 or so, and so on. Also, or putting substantial damage in larger targets (like, 10-25%) should count as at least a count of 2 by default. I've put a lot of damage into majors/bosses using nothing but a bow before. Not the most efficient way to damage it but I was under the impression it would count toward my quest. It did not and that needs to change.
2. Medals are hard to come by and don't give much progress. Either make medals easier to get or make them more substantial. Since you can't make medals easier to get (or maybe you could make more easier medals) make medals more substantial to progress. Getting one medal should at least move you half of a percent. So 2 medals are 1 percent. Harder medals like army of one should give you more and so on.
If no Bungie rep responds to this, does someone at least want to say if they agree or disagree that this quest needs work? It's not bad in concept but could be much better in execution. If nothing else, just don't make any more quests like this.

Solemn Argusにより編集済み: 6/17/2019 8:25:55 AMAnyone that says the medals aren't completely annoyingly ridiculous the rate of progress you make is completely delusional. At least make the damn rest of the quest the same rate so you don't finish the bow part, with about a 3rd of the medals progress made, and as you realise how slow it goes up, you reach for the tide pods, let's all be honest here.

6 通の返信play regular gambit for bow kills, enemies have less health in reg gambit vs gambit prim.. I used trinity ghoul for that chain lighting. Play gambit prime for the medals

I did the quest just a couple days ago, and I’ll tell ya the medals portion needs work. I had a good bit of fun with the main bows portion, and finished precision hits when I was around 25% and the final blows when I was around 33% for the medals. The medals portion really needs to make those gold medals feel worth it, and Idk why but medals like “most wanted” stopped dropping for me.

3 通の返信The bow aint worth it, trust me I will do it, mostly for completion sake, but i wont use it, there are way better alternatives

Eh I've been on it for less than 8 hours, playing sporadically, and have gotten I think 400+ kills, 200+ final blows and 18% medals (I think). But I agree on the one kill means one kill thing. It needs to scale up depending on the difficulty. For now, I'm very happy shooting Fallen Shanks, Thralls, and Dregs in Gambit and tend to avoid the tougher ones that I can't one shot. Try using the black armory bow since it has a very short draw time, allowing you to chain kill multiple weak enemies. This should give you the Killmonger medal. Also go for roaming supers where you can take out large amounts of soft targets such as Hammer of Sol, Dawn Blade, Seismic Strike, Arc Staff etc. Pop the supers at the start of a new spawn of enemies, and you should get a medal for killing about 5 to 6 of them. Apart from that during Gambit matches I usually just play Reaper, stay by the bank, and kill blockers immediately when they spawn. That should net you the Locksmith medal.

3 通の返信I heard the weapon is good and so I think it should be hard to get. I know its boring but it makes you feel better when you have it and no one else does.

1 返信Medals is the big problem I would rather it be a certain number if wins than a random number of medals

2 通の返信The mountaintop needs a rework far more than this first. If I don't get a rework, you don't either.

2 通の返信Ogma: Destroyer of Worldsにより編集済み: 6/11/2019 1:56:53 PMThe only thing I think that needs work is the medals progression. It’s too slow because kill based medals are less frequent when using a bow because of the fire rate. I’m using Subtle Calamity with dragonfly and a dragonfly mod so I can get multikills on the red mobs. My problem though is that I only want to play Prime because regular Gambit sucks and in Prime there are less red bar enemies. It’s just not practical for a lot of scenarios. At the Tate I’m going I’ll probably complete both bow requirements before I even hit 50% with the medals progression. It’s just really inconsistent.

In 3 matches of regular gambit i got Almost 300 kills, i recommend wishender if you have it i once ranked over 200 kills with wishender in just one match. This was pre quest before prime. Not that it helps now but I hear there's a heavy bow coming with shadow keep

1 返信Harder medals do in fact get be more points, Wiping a whole squad or killing Thrillmonger ect progresses faster then say the medal where you bank first
-
4 通の返信I disagree, but i respect your opinion. I felt like this quest was way easier than expected, definitely easier than the Wendigo and the crucible weapons. And this is coming from someone who hates Gambit with a passion Lol. I got mine done within a few hours, but I was using Wish Ender and Subtle Calamity with Dragonfly. I was averaging maybe 10 + medals every match, depending on my team/the enemy team Lol

2 通の返信Dude. You aren't expected to complete the quest straight away. It's a season long quest.
