Try and asking new players who are interested in the weapon the quest gives but have not and are not capable of understanding how to successfully get the rapid kills. You are trying to make it sound much easier then the actual requirements the quest needs

New players aren't the target audience for pinnacle weapons. I'm not trying to make it sound easy, I've said it was time consuming, and more specifically that it took me the better part of two seasons. But the post says that it's impossible when it simply isn't. And honestly it wasn't particularly hard, just quite the grind.

Pinnacle weapons are aimed for all players even if they are new. They show up in the crucible vendors inventory for them for a reason. Its like saying other old pinnacle weapons arent for new players. And if you need to grind something in a pvp scenario (especially when it must be competitive) it becomes a difficult task and is also time consuming.

Only part of mountain top that has to be done in comp is hitting fabled. And I strongly disagree that pinnacle weapons are targeted towards everyone. I don't like playing gambit, so I won't get hush or 21% delerium, if someone doesn't like playing comp, then they won't get the comp pinnacle weapons, or they have to deal with the grind. Mountain top doesn't do a single iota more dps than a militias birthright rolled with spike grenades, it's main selling point is that it has no arc to the trajectory, it's more of a novelty than anything else, so there's no reason it needs to be made easier to aquire.

l Cadi lにより編集済み: 6/10/2019 9:39:09 PMThey have the same rof(90rpm), and damage per shot when both have spike grenades, therefore all it takes is for a militias birthright to have field prep and it can do more damage just by the extra reserves alone. Also cos is a horrible dps metric since the typical fireteam is not going to be at max light, (or even all the same power level bracket for that matter) giving inconsistent dps numbers. My militias doesn't have spike grenades or I'd record numbers myself later. But it really doesn't need tested, spike grenades is the only damage boosting perk on militias birthright and mtn top, and it has the same damage capabilities and base ammo reserves as any other green ammo nade launcher. Only thing that sets it aside is the lack of arc for the trajectory and sticky grenades (which don't do as much as spidke grenades) also increased velocity matters because grenade launcher have a travel time, blast radius is more useful for more situational purposes ie riven. The reason you see vids and discussions about it being able to one phase a boss is because without random rolls, every mtn top has the exact same output so long as you've got it set to spike grenades. It would be much more work for six people to grind out every one of them having a spike grenade militias when mtn top already has it. Which bring us back to mtn too being easy to get.

Okay so where is your proof that militia birthright is better other then “it can have rolls that make it just the same”. Im saying new players will want it since you can use it to 1 phase the boss. If it can 1 phase it without a team of max light players then it is good for dps atm. You are trying to say stuff that does not matter unless its tested. You have a hypothesis so go test it

It's not a hypothesis, it's facts combined to reach a conclusion. They do the same damage per shot if both have spoke grenades. They have the same rof. Same damage per shot+same rof=identical dps. Militias birthright can roll field prep+spike grenades, mtn top only has spike grenades. Ergo a well rolled Militias is better for overall dps than mtn top. Which is still not the highest in game by far.
