refer a friend website issue
I just bought forsaken and I'm eligible for the quest, and i was trying to link with my friend, it accepted at first but then it kept telling me to accept over and over (apparently the Bungie website was updating at the time), so we deleted the referral link and tried again, now it gives me the red notification (You are either an existing Destiny 2 player, or are the new player in an existing referral bond. You cannot join the Refer-a-Friend program as a new player more than once unless you are joining with the same player who previously deleted a bond with you. You can still access the quests and rewards if you refer a friend to join the program.)

I have exactly the same problem. My Daughter got Destiny 2 Forsaken, I sent her a "Refer-a-Friend-Link", she tried to accept multiple times, we deleted the link and tried again. She now gets "ou are either an existing Destiny 2 player, or are the new player in an existing referral bond. You cannot join the Refer-a-Friend program as a new player more than once unless you are joining with the same player who previously deleted a bond with you. You can still access the quests and rewards if you refer a friend to join the program." every time.
