Man I have no idea why you people are just so outright negative all the time. Do me and favor and do some searching on the psychological effects of being negative all the time. Being negative all the time makes you a perpetual negative person all the time. The message bungie delivered in their stream indicated strong motives to start moving in a better direction. I’m hopeful but I’m not naive. The moon and the new content will bring a breath of fresh air paired with familiar terrain that gives a hint of nostalgia. Bungie has given me countless hours of video game enjoyment and I can’t ask for much more. A lot of you people need to fkn grow up.

I offer you this long, wordy input of a girl who really wants you to succeed but is deeply, deeply cautious. I'm sincerely, really rooting for you guys here. But I want to offer my word of caution, you only get one more chance. You say you're free to make your own decisions for the game and company now, and I want you to show that really is what's been holding you back. I have stayed with you, off and on, through every expansion to both games, most often being greeted by re-used assets, the same old enemies (the scorn barely count as new), and other such monotony. I have wanted so badly to see you guys shine again, and you have consistently teased me with the possibility. When I saw Spider's soldiers move about the map and fight alongside me, I was giddy to see allied characters! But I also realized that's how low the bar had actually gotten. I was absolutely [i]ecstatic[/i] at the prospect of (Lots of spoilers for Forsaken follow... granted I dunno how to spoil a story where I have no idea what's going on anyway) [spoiler]an intense gunfight with Uldren throwing off the theme of your boss fights, and giving me a genuinely climactic and new experience. Instead, I got another reskinned ball that points at me and launches projectiles. You are the worst kind of teases. Then after all the preaching of justice vs. vengeance, I don't even get to make my own decision and it's instead left vague as to what happened. I will say when I got to talk to Petra at the observatory, I was giddy to be learning information from an NPC that almost explained something.[/spoiler] I shouldn't be thrilled by that. Instead of storytelling being part of the game, I instead find rocks on the ground and scream "OH LOOK A LORE!" like a sick joke, but I digress. What I'm trying to get at is this: Most developers or hell, most [i]people[/i] would not be afforded the amount of chances you have been given. Please don't take this lightly, is all I want to ask of you. Make something new. Revamped armor and stats is cool. Flashy cutscene finishing moves are... well they exist. But you're showing me a trailer for the moon with MORE re-used bosses and assets, and I'm about ready to give up. While there have been some few new and admittedly very cool things (bows are my new favorite weapons and the new subclasses are a treat), I just sometimes feel like I'm watching a studio try to stretch the life of what they've made in the past as long as possible, not a studio trying to create something. I really, truly, genuinely know and believe you can do better. There is nobody holding any leashes now, it's just you guys. Don't squander it, show us what you've got, because we all want you to win. I'm either dumb or it's just not actually happening, but when discussing New Light they only mentioned Warmind and Curse of Osiris becoming free. What about forsaken? I am moving to pc when New Light drops so I can get everything for free, but even on Steam there is nothing there about forsaken so am I going to have to buy it again or is it going to be free? I mean I'll still buy it if I have to I'm just curious.

Anyone else angry about D2 going free too play? I was thinking about returning too D2 when I heard about shadow keep then I hear they are going free too play and the only thing free too play players don't get is Forsaken and shadowkeep story content they get all destinations !!! So they are telling me I paid 200 plus dollars for what 10 forsaken story missions and now they expect us too pay 40 bucks for a few story missions sure feel like I was robbed and very salty glad I did not buy season pass as well SLOW CLAP FOR BUNGLE !!! Good job on making your customers feel robbed so some free loaders can play for nothing.

I will happily pay money to play destiny occasionally (3hrs a week ish). The problem that I have had with the season pass model is that the new content is essentially always too much gameplay away. Therefore the highlight of this video and Bungie's new approach is getting to new content quickly. Always be in the Endgame 😀 Cross save has sold me on switching to Stadia for destiny as well! I'm hoping that the Stadia version ends up being the best for multiplayer... The games will all be running on Google's servers so it should be lighting fast... And 60fps.

They gave a speech about customizing our character in their live-stream. But it was all about redoing armor perks with I'm excited about but, You know what I want, An option for Beards for male Guardians, I'd play a male Gaurdian if I could make a Titan look like he's a Iron Lord Viking. Basically the character creator needs a massive overhaul with a vendor in the tower that let's you customize your face. The ability to select weight, age, and height. I also wish we had Power Weapons that did less damage but used Primary or Energy ammo instead of Power Ammo. I just want a Handcannon in the Power weapon slot. LoL More freedom to build our characters our way, redo the skill trees in each subclass so that the melee isn't determined by the tree but has its own tree like the grenade and class ability do. Destroy the Crucible Shotgun Meta, by adding larger and more wide open maps with fewer sharp corners. Lock Loadouts in Competive so people dont sit idle making changes. Add an are your ready confirmation before it actually adds you to a lobby when you first click on the icon. Give other classes a melee that can compete with Shoulder Charge like attacks that Titans have. A player in Crucible shouldn't feel like they need to run a cookie-cuter Loadout to win.
