Constant Moose errors/loss of connection since last update.
Hi All,
Hoping we can get this resolved before the raid race Tuesday!
Ever since the last update to Destiny 2 I've encountered constant Moose general networking issues while playing the game. It happens in every activity, with the connection remaining stable until it just suddenly drops.
So far I've trawled the troubleshooting guides but there wasn't anything that has helped, and I'm now pulling my hair out trying to get this fixed. Here's some general info:
- I use a fixed line connection, which is where the errors occur.
- I've tried different cables, connecting through a switch, connecting directly to the router, different router ports. None of these help, the dropouts still occur.
- The error does not occur when connected to my mobile hotspot, only when using a fixed connection.
- The dropouts only occur to me, not my housemate who also uses a fixed line connection. The dropouts occur regardless of them being online or offline.
- Destiny 2 is the ONLY game I experience this problem with, every other game I play has no connection problems what so ever. No packet loss, no high ping, nothing.
- Destiny 2 reports either a moderate or open NAT, never strict.
- I've tried a full reinstall of the game, this didn't help.
- I've also ensure that all relevant drivers are updated on my PC
Any ideas on how I can get this resolved? I'm drawing complete blanks as everything I can think of to blame should be effecting both me and my housemate, or Destiny and every other game I play - though this isn't the case.
