Jesus bungie, there are pulse rifles, auto, and scout rifles!!!! All I see in the upcoming season are new old weapons. Is this really what we can expect?

11 通の返信Think of 3 underused weapon archetypes. 1-Bows. The new addition to the Armoury. Epic Fail. Bows are underwhelming and see very little use. In skilled hands are useable. For the average player a pulse rifle performs better. 2-Grenade Launchers. Worst quest in the game Mountaintop. Most players can’t be bothered to even use a GL in PVP because they’re so crappy and inconsistent. In PVE there’s nothing better then shooting a Dreg with a GL only to have the projectile bounce off or travel right through the target causing no damage. 3-Snipers Only good sniper in D2 has been nerfed and is now garbage. Maps in PVP are small mainly CQC thus snipes aren’t practical. So Bungie data concludes that in order to get more use out of these 3 garbage weapon types we need to make them pinnacle weapons.

As much as I love Handcannons. In D2 we’ve been spoiled absolutely rotten to where the handcannons thst are exotic aren’t the best. We got Crimson(utility) Sturm which is great Sunshot(severely needs a buff to mag etc) Past Luna and the other god rolled legendaries they’ve catered old D1 exotic hand cannons to us. Ace Last word Thorn Now I only really wanted thorn, but I’m tired of jumping through all these hoops and rings for just a D1 exotic, especially a handcannon. They know they can mix it up, but I guess they’re banking on a few folks buying the models

22 通の返信Nope, we must please our streamers. All jokes aside, it actually sucks that Bungie caters to them. I mean, they speak for the entire player base. Well, at least that is what Bungie said. Oh, can anyone tell me how this is "balancing" the entire game?

7 通の返信I really love my Jade Rabbit, but it is rough finding a decent map to use it on now in PvP. Everything got so congested when they moved to 6v6 on these 4v4 maps most of the time I am switching to my HC.

I would love to see some support weapons too! Bullets heal teammates if fired at them? Scout rifle that has a timed payload that sticks to walls and can be used as tripmines? An auto rifle that can heal teammates and damage foes? The Tractor Cannon was a cool original idea until they gave it suppressing powers and left it as a heavy. What’s the fun in that if you can’t launch enemies off cliffs because they are already dead? Why not a grenade launcher that you can stick teammates with and they can be a moving bomb? A fusion rifle that freezes enemies. (Should have been cold heart but they slept on that)

Yeah, we need new scouts and ARs especially: there are enough good pulses, although I love pulses so I wouldn't turn down new ones either, if they're good. Scouts in particular are still somewhat lacking: unfortunately, to make them most effective, they end up with perk sets that are kind of bland: I could probably get more kills with damage boosting perks, but with a scout especially, I'll trade a damage perk for Dragonfly, every time, just because I enjoy watching people's heads explode in Crucible. ;P And depending on how closely clustered together the opposing team is, it's sometimes incredibly useful. It would be nice to be able to have a scout where there are fewer trade-offs, because scouts are enough of a pain to use in these small maps but getting outranged by HCs and PRs, getting sniped by snipers and linear fusion rifles, scouts lack an optimal range that they aren't being crowded out of by other weapons and weapon archetypes. D1 had some great scout rifles, and maps to use them on: I loved my full-auto NL Shadow with HCR, it was the flinch king, with a fast rate of fire, crisp movement with decent handling, it would stun-lock Guardians for days. By comparison, in D2, even my favourite MIDA feels underwhelming: still effective, but in some ways even less interesting than in D1 where it was a great workhorse weapon in Crucible. It was nothing fancy, it just worked. I mean, why give up an Exotic slot if there are better Exotics and you can get outshot by some Legendaries.

5 通の返信Every time you say ‘hand cannon’, another Bungie employee gets a raging erection.

I would love to see another exotic sub machine gun or pulse rifle. Not enough exotic to go around. Bad juju was a long time friend of mine back in D1. Now you have a double tapping scout rifle or a five bursting auto rifle. The damn Crimson is more of a Pulse rifle than the other two are

1 返信I would much rather have a Plan C, Trespasser, or Zen Meteor over Truth. The hand cannon is cool though. We'll see about it.

Corrick IIにより編集済み: 5/29/2019 9:42:23 PMBut it’s Truth! Sure it got nerfed all to hell, but still. We can trick shoot with launchers again! That is until they nerf tracking too... To your point I wouldn’t mind Monte Carlo coming back if only because it was my favorite AR exotic. Would be nice to give the exotic perk some kind of twist.

5 通の返信Scouts will never again be good in D2. They have to prove bows were worth implementing.
-
2 通の返信I really want an exotic solar bow, a new exotic auto, dual wield smgs and maybe some dual wield side arms.
-
9 通の返信Bungie hates autos, scouts, sidearms, and swords. It should be evident by this point that they have a fanatical favoritism towards hand-cannons. Even on PC I hate hand-cannons. They're just so boring, both aesthetically and in gameplay, yet somehow manage to be the most powerful. It's like every facet of content is built to cater to hand-cannons, with every other weapon as an afterthought.
-
16 通の返信Nah. Hand cannons take the most skill. There should be more of them. Endless supply of them.
-
2 通の返信For pulses all you need is bygones blast furnace and outbreak. Scouts are only viable on a few maps and even then can be outshines by pulses. Handcannons are a joke half the time unless it's a 180 rpm at least on console.

5 通の返信I want a Sidearm so much. Come on @Bungie, we only have a single exotic sidearm in the game, please!
