Orpheus is getting nerfed due to power creep the exotic buffs the super so much you can ignore mechanics (e.g anything to do with dealing with a hoard of enemies) same reason my skull of dire ahamkara is getting nerfed.

Orpheus can cause the game to drop frames. Too many orbs dropping from adds and it starts to look like a slide show. Ever done a heroic Witch's Ritual on Titan with a hunter using Orpheus? The first time I witnessed it I was Dawn Blade. The Hunter kept tethering, all of us kept using our supers. The FPS got jacked. When it was all over there were dozens of orbs in the room. A Titan stood in the middle of it making the confused emote. It was hilarious.
