05/23/2019 TWAB: Probably not what the community needed.
On June 4, we’ll deliver the full and final patch notes.
This being all there is to go off, in terms of the possibility of sandbox adjustments to offset the frankly divisive changes put forth in the previous weeks TWAB, is next to nothing. A fairly common mindset seen around these forums is a general apathetic attitude towards the 'World First' Raid Contest. It's seen and largely commented on as aimed towards the 'streamers', the people who can commit a day-off and play 12 hours straight. The proposed changes made to entice more players into participating in this challenge are nice, sure, but that's small potatoes compared to the backlash seen from the previous Update. I'm mostly in agreement with the nerfs coming, but even I can tell that this latest TWAB reads as though it was written with zero intent to further clarify and possibly smooth out player-developer frustrations, which are quite hot right now. If negative impactful changes can be presented and talked about two and a half weeks in advance, why are positive impactful changes excluded from this situation? Edit: title typo I'm using "needed" very loosely. It's more like "Probably not what the community *would benefit from the most.* " Edit 2: Cozmo on Twitter said that the next TWAB will include information on sandbox buffs and Pinnacle weapon info. Why can't this information be talked about sooner and the, frankly, less important World-First and Eververse information gets pushed back? This is exactly what I was going towards. Why post-pone "good" information?
