Bows need a more viable place within PvP. They are just too weak against the current meta. Legendarys are ok since you can get them at charge times of 600. Less if it has the right perks. But Exotic bows don't have the same level of power with in PvP as legendry's. So this is what I propose.
Wish ender:
The bow should just do more damage in general. Not quite one tap but an arrow and a blast from a handcannon to the head seems like a good one (depending on resilience level).
Le Monarque:
Should have the charge time lessened by I would say 60. And just ever so slightly buff the amount of damage the venom does to the opponent.
Trinity Ghoul:
Should have its charge time slightly decreased but the chain of lightning does a great deal of damage.

Ross4426により編集済み: 5/24/2019 1:28:27 PMNo!!!! The Le Monarque is already cheesy . It almost 1 shot you, and stops you from being pushed. The other exotic bows like wishender can 1 shot you depending on the distance . If they did what you suggested , it would be worst than luna and nf

As a bow main I have to say. Shut up before you get them nerfed. I do feel like wish bow should’ve been a 1 shot heavy weapon imo. Trinity as well needs to be more consistent but aside from that bows are strong. I can go against NF users now. It’s gonna suck when they get nerfed.

Bows don't need a buff, they have taken over Scouts and Snipers in PvP. At most they need a nerf to make the other 2 more viable. As for PvE, in patrols and exploring they are fine. If they have a problem it might be in endgame.

Wish-ender and Le Monarque are both fine to me at least. Not very meta but I've done well with both in PvE and PvP. I wouldn't be opposed to a buff, especially for Trinity Ghoul which I agree needs one. Bows are that weapon that the smallest tweak could push them from decent, to the best weapon in the game. I like my bows and honestly I don't want bungie finding a reason to nerf them.

Trinity ghoul needs it main perk reworked. There's no point in shooting three arrows, the spread is too thin to hit multiple targets most of the time. I think it would be cool if they reworked Trinity ghouls perk so that when aiming down sights you fire a single arrow, and while hip firing you fire about 6 smaller arrows sorta like a shotgun, although not dealing the same amount of damage obviously, I think this would be cool because it would allow the bow to be good at close range to.

For the Trinity Ghoul is should be an actual lightning bolt that shoots out then it chains near by targets and explodes like dragonfly.

Wish Ender is already a 1hk to the head in PvP...you do realize that right.. bows are meant to be used at a range, and literally every bow is a 2tap as of right now. Sometimes 1hk if the armor is low enough. They're fine.

The light bows kill in 2 crits. Heavy bows in killing one credit and one body which is a lot faster than most other weapons and that's not including rampage, empowering rift, inertia override. So how much more power do you need. if you make them any more powerful they'll just get nerfed next season and you'll need three perfect draw crits and a note from your mother saying you can play with pointy sticks. And bows are far superior to scouts PVE, for example The Vow versus the oxygen sr3 on solar burn shooting a major 2 arrows drops the sheild but takes nearly the whole magazine from the oxygen drop a majors shield and the oxygen sr3 is a pinnacle weapon.

Can we please not buff bows. I've dedicated most of my time since forsaken to be good with them. I don't want to have to get them buffed just to be seen as toxic and then have them nerfed to worse than they are. Fucx off with that.

This post is poorly researched and poorly opinionated.
Bows need a more viable place within PvP. They are just too weak against the current meta.
Bows are extremely strong in PvP, especially with snipers being so weak due to flinch. They have extremely big hitboxes and great accuracy. You can not them draw them fully and still shoot at a trajectory straight enough to hit your target. They really have no weakness. Using a bow is almost a guaranteed 2.0 kd for me, it's easy mode.
Wish ender: The bow should just do more damage in general. Not quite one tap but an arrow and a blast from a handcannon to the head seems like a good one (depending on resilience level).
This is already the case... In fact every HC archetype but 180's can clean up someone with a bodyshot after a headshot from Wishender. Not to mention the bow has WALL HACKS just from ADS. I think Wishender needs something else to make it feel exotic but a damage buff is not the answer.
Le Monarque: Should have the charge time lessened by I would say 60. And just ever so slightly buff the amount of damage the venom does to the opponent.
No. Just no. It already almost one-shots as is. Are you dumb?

Hehehe. You fools. You haven’t learned the true power of bows. A bow becomes monstrous when paired with another weapon. Particularly a QuickDraw sidearm or my personal favorite, a Snapshot handcannon. I recently acquired a Snapshot Crimils Dagger, and the impact allows for a Body Shot from Le Monarque followed by a headshot from Crimils. EASY two tap. And it’s absolute overkill with a headshot from Monarque. One headshot, one body shot is all it takes, and Snapshot makes the swap QUICK.

I dunno i feel like bows are pretty good where they are now especially in a team shot capacity. Also pairing a bow with a smugglers word with quickdraw is pretty fun imo, get a headshot then get aggro with the sidearm also has the potential to hose apes if you can hit your shots, 1 hs and 1 burst kills pretty much all guardians.
-
The bows are fine. The problem is that there is such a HUGE step down from exotic heavy weapons to our underpowered legendaries, that no one wants to waste their exotic slot on a bow. No matter how powerful it is.
-
All exotic bows need Archer's Tempo as an innate skill. Trinity Ghoul needs to charge on critical hit, not kill. It's just not effective against anything other than red bars currently as it charges on kill. The rest of the bows are otherwise fine.

Wish ender is good in team shots (like all bows) but having wall hacks gives you the jump on an engagement. Used correctly, it's a huge pain in the ass. Le monarch is fine, thing leaves you 1 shot. You ever run around as a solar titan having the sun warrior buff and one shoting fools? No? Me neither but it's a thing. Trinity ghoul, yeah you got me on this one, it's straight ass. What's the point of shooting 3 arrows if it still does the same damage?
i mean i know physics is a thing and the energy of the bow string would be equally split between the 3 arrows so they should technically only do 1/3 of the damage(which they do), math checks out but SPACE MAGIC
also the 3 arrows make it inconsistent AF , like a lot of the time you end up only landing 2 and doing less damage than a regular bow.

Please run debug. Bungie not in buff mode, buffs not possible at this time. Only nerfs may be requested."

I love bows in pvp and personally I think trinity ghoul is the only bow in need of a buff. Every other bow I can typically get a 1.5 -2.0 kd but trinity is the only bow I can only get a 0.8-1.0. I do believe all the exotic bows could use a pve buff though.
