With these much needed nerfs I am finally excited for a challenging raid for once. Maybe this time it won't be a joke.

Raids by their nature are supposed to be mechanic heavy the amount of extra damage you do shouldn't matter so the argument that high DPS weapons make raids easier isn't absolutely right, bungie can always limit damage u can do like they did with shuro chi so yeah it's basically laziness on their part

its already a joke, I believe these nerfs are in preparation of the raid. Instead of having better level design they nerfed the weapons. You can have a power fantasy and a challenge at the same time, you dont need to nerf weapons that people have spent weeks trying to get. I knew there was something up when they said they were bringing it out on day 1, the reason they gave was a fair reason but its not the real reason. I believe its because they know its going to be to easy, which is the reason they have nerfed the weapons and made it available day 1 to give the illusion that its harder than it actually is. The same people will get it done first it will be a race between the usual teams.

No more challenging than any other raid boss day one. Before they got to vault most teams had been on track to finish the raid about 8 hours after launch. Vault took them an incredibly long amount of time to figure out and riven took them about 3 to do. Which is nothing compared to oryx or atheon and about the same as Val cauor

Instead, they just make it harder to bullet-sponge it. At least chaining white nail was satisfying asf. And let's be real, you'll just look up a guide on google. In best case, it will be entertaining the first time. Challenging? Laughable. What do you think the nerfs will accomplish? I know what - they will make you search for more heavy bricks and orbs.
