The Leviathan raid has been completed by less than 10% of the playerbase on PS4.
Last Wish has been completed by less than 3% of the playerbase on PS4.
Seems like the D2 raids have almost been boycotted all along.

So do you cater to 1,000 people who play 10 minutes, or do you cater to 100 people who play 10 hours, for example? I don’t know the answer but I feel like they have more to lose by alienating their most dedicated players.

I do think that Bungie need to aim for the middle a bit more though. They seem to go from one extreme to the other and miss the majority that lie in between too often.

Those percentages are also extremely inaccurate relative the actual population. On Xbox, only 49% even reached level 20. Only 61% completed a heroic public event. Only 15% reached the dreaming city. I’d be far more interested in what % of people to play in the last month had those achievements.

That would definitely be interesting. Sadly those numbers aren’t obtainable.

Meh. There are over 10 million registered "playerbase" 9 million of them apparently just bought the game, dicked around a bit, then moved on. So 10% of the playerbase is over a million players, which is more than what generally still plays. I'm not a raider, but the numbers are based on the entire base that bought the original D2 game, not the continuing playerbase.

Not necessarily. He’s likely going off the Xbox trophy numbers, particularly the one that shows player percentage that has received the trophy for completing Last Wish. The percent on Xbox that have the trophy for completing Last Wish is indeed 3%. There may be more to it however, because I would agree that feels too low just from what I’ve experienced among the playerbase.

probably seems low because the player base you associate with has completed it. That player base is small, much smaller than most people think. This game is already out to pasture. D3’s gameplay mechanic leaks don’t seem anymore promising. Catering to hardcore players with PVPVE environments is just gonna lead to grieving complaints and even less participation than what is being seen currently. This whole game is a 10 year failed experiment
