It’s a little too early to judge D3, considering it’s still in development. Even with the leaks we got a while back, there’s not enough information to go off of for me to make a decision right now.

D2 is beyond fixing to many core problems, better to focus on D3: dedicated servers(big maybe), 60fps on console, and an upgraded engine are big ones. D2 launched with a lot of flaws that with the current engine can’t be fixed, which was a big problem in D1. The engine itself I think is all the way back from Halo 2 or 3 which is why it gives them so much trouble, it’s not meant to handle Destiny’s mechanics.

It would be nice but the problem with patches and wonky and broken content that seems to have gone untested is due to the engine it’s so outdated that they can’t recreate most bugs and glitches that appear in the live version, downloading coding to change can take upwards of 24hours and changing the coding can in most cases breaks numerous other things. This is all because the current engine cannot run Destiny properly. Upgrading the engine will help fix these problems allowing for less breaks in the game and faster patches and fixes, as well as a separate balance for pve and pvp.

Unless they actually do what they’ve been saying”we’re listening” and add everything the players want in. Then we’ll finally get the Destiny we deserve, unfortunately that is highly improbable. But if by the off chance that they do all that then we probably won’t see a sale for a while XD.

Exactly, they’ll need to start communicating with the player base and giving insight on how they are working on D3, and by having a out-of-this-world FREE beta(not one we’re you have to pre-order the game) that shows off the games apsects will help a lot.
