Before the PvP base starts to whine and cry about outbreak, I’d like to ask em to well...not do that this time. This is a fun weapon to use, not terribly;y easy to get.
Y’all just got spectral nerfed, next casualty is Luna’s and not forgotten. Thanks PvP base.
Where has the whole “Get gud” the PvP base likes to throw around? Never want to seem to get gud, just want to use whatever you’ve always ran and wanna keep that pointless k/d up past 2.
I see Outbreak getting nerfed within 2 weeks or so. PvP base does not like fun, just whining.

3 通の返信It's infinitely better in PvE than PvP. I can't even begin to fathom how it could ever be overpowered in PvP outside of it possibly being able to pull some funny business on a Titan Bubble(which are already rare enough as is). It's a solid, reliable Pulse for Crucible, but OP? Definitely not.

I was with you on not nerfing Outbreak, but then you lost me. Spectral needed a nerf. It was completely stupid. Luna's and NF are 2 of the strongest weapons in the game and are incredibly easy to use. Yes you work for them but if you're good enough to get them, you don't need to use them, it's rewarding skill with weapons that require less of it. It also resulted in the meta we've had for 8 god damn months that's been stale for the majority of that time. Plus it isn't people complaining that's the only cause for either of these nerfs. It's the number of people using the weapons and SB and how often they're used. I don't want a nerf to Outbreak because like everything else PvP ruins, this will be another casualty in PvE, like Luna's and NF. Bottom line, if you don't want nerfs, try using other shit too. I know everyone wants the best chances at winning and all that so that's not entirely on the players. Bungie need to expand the meta for a change cause all D2 has been is a small portion of weapons and abilities getting spammed till nerfs hit.

If they ship any gear or ability over tuned enjoy it while it’s broken (or let’s be honest crutch on it so you don’t have to play well to be successful) but realize the game needs balance so the over tuning will get adjusted over time. Every weapon every piece of gear every ability is subject to (necessary) change for the long term health of the game.

Hawpyにより編集済み: 5/10/2019 11:05:34 PMIt's going to get nerfed because of PvE, not PvP. It's a Primary weapon that is great at killing trash mobs, great for killing Majors and keeps pace with Heavy weapons for boss damage. That's too much for any one gun that has no drawbacks. All this without the Catalyst, too.

1 返信Good pvp players adapt. Potatoes tell themselves they got killed by a gun when in all actuality they got outplayed. OutBreak is average at best in pvp. You’re wanting to creating a problem that isn’t even there. Which is just as bad as the potatoes that cry for Nerfs. Pot meet kettle....

1 返信Bygones is probably better, though arguably not as fun. Only nerfs would be due to PvE.

GalaxySpiderにより編集済み: 5/11/2019 7:46:47 AMIsn't it a 450 RPM pulse? Well, there are better guns for PvP in that archetype who actually can receive random rolls + better stats. AND tbh, that archetype sucks anyway. Before the nanites can even kill something, your opponent would already be dead by the bullets alone. 390RPMs are better, like the Bygones. Why should they even consider a nerf at some point? To make the gun even worse?

3 通の返信It is fantastic and fun in PvE but it has become obnoxious in PvP. I went into quickplay to try a new Titan build with Rat King and nothing but Outbreaks everywhere. I'm not mad about it I will just have to wait until the honeymoon period is over ~^_^~

6 通の返信Just stop. The fact that everyone comes on here crying "don't nerf this" just means it's OP and you're scared to lose your crutch. I don't have it yet and haven't really been bothered by it, but it's honestly pretty stupid to have a primary weapon throw off damaging effects just by "causing damage". It doesn't even require a kill to do so. Some things are just stupid... like allowing the nanite effect in crucible. It should only apply in pve. Also, it's burning primevals in Gambit faster than Secondaries or Heavy weapons because the damage stacks. So get ready... your newest crutch WILL be nerfed because once again Bungie didn't think things through and Bungie allows NOBODY to affect Gambit negatively. Why do you think Whisper was nerfed? Bungie made a horrible product with D2 and then fixed it by making better weapons but completely turned everything into a boss melt because the bosses still have to be killable with standard loadouts available to everyone. And then they made the pvp situation untenable by removing sbmm, which means people with super meta weapons are thrown in just anywhere and being infinitely more deadly than everyone else doesn't even throw you into a higher bracket... so QP is an even worse mess than it was during the revelry and now Outbreak is being used by teams to make Competitive tougher to get through. Sorry, but these weapons aren't just fun, they are also stupid. I'm doing okay because of Jotunn, which is another OP weapon that needs a nerf. It should just be a solar Telesto, but instead it's a tracking cross-mapper with residual AoE flame damage. Oh, you killed me after I ran out of ammo? I just respawned with 2 more and I get more special ammo dropping from the kills I get on shotgunners. I admit it's fun melting shotgun apes while they try vainly to get close, but seriously... I went an entire match last week melting a shotgunner with a MUCH better record than me simply because he was a Warlock and he couldn't evade Jotunn. I don't know if he ever even touched me the entire match, and he was REALLY trying because I imagine he was pissed. Anyway, back to my original point. I haven't seen any topics saying to nerf Outbreak, but I've seen two pleading not to... That telks ANYONE with a brain that it needs a nerf. YOU are your own worst enemy, dummy... so shut your mouth and just play.

2 weeks... Shit ur outta ur mind it will get nerfed but it will be another 8month meta before it will get changed... Recluse is on the short list I guarantee... That thing is ridiculous and so many people using it and outbreak

3 通の返信
Y’all just got spectral nerfed,
It was broken beyond words. Why did they even allow the fastest attacking super, longest, wall hacking and invis have the highest def is beyond me.

14 通の返信that's no excuse. not forgotten is far more harder to get and it's still getting nerfed. If i have to lose my favorite pve hand cannon, then you have to have your pulse rifle nerfed.

1 返信I don't think it's a bad weapon but it's really only shines in PvE against bosses (Gambit is amazing for this weapon). The best part of the gun for PvP is the precision headshots but that's comparative to quite a few Pulse Rifles.

I’ve only played 5 games of QP with Outbreak. I’ll play some more over the weekend. 1st impressions are that the gun has good stability. It still needs 3 bursts to kill. 4 bursts if you have shitty aim like me. I don’t see any reason why this gun would be considered overly powerful in PVP. HCs in mid to close will still beat it and the majority of the maps we play on don’t typically have much long range combat(Equinox being the exception) In PVE it’s good. Good for damage/DPS on majors. A solid 8/10 gun. I’m glad this rehashed weapon from D1 doesn’t suck like so many do when Bungie brings them over. (Ie Thorn)
