With the recent Xur invitation of the nine bounty debacle and Bungo's hard stance on the infusion system (aka core issue), are they losing what is left of it's community?
Incase you missed this week's TWAB, they won't fix the bounty until May 7 at the next reset, yet the Pinnacle exploit for cores was disabled and fixed within days, not over a week.
Then there is the Enhancement Core issue, let's just say Bungo and the community differ on this topic, enough said.
Comments, opinions, let's hear them

2 通の返信I don't think using childish names like "Bungo" is going to help. If anything, it just makes your side/stance/position seem immature and difficult to take seriously. This whole 'Developer - Community' relationship, in the current live-service game environment, is a two-way street. I think the 'community' may have lost the connection and relationship values just as Bungie may have.

5 通の返信30+ friends playing the game at release, about 25 of them serious returning D1 players. Now, I play a couple days a week, another 2 friends play a couple days a week, and a 3rd friend logged in only to get Arbalest, but quit before getting it. I think those numbers pretty much answer the question.

27 通の返信I just posted this in as a reply in the thread below, but I think it’s valuable information for the main thread. Here is some numbers.
Just to clarify if you’re looking at Destiny Tracker for that number your number is actually wrong. If you look on DTN it shows 328pvp and 411pve players yesterday. The problem is that DTN counts a gambit game as both a pve player and a pvp player even though a player can play Gambit and not even enter the crucible but be counted towards both. So you can use a crucible only tracker like guardian.gg which reports crucible only. They show 200k PvP players yesterday. So that gives you 200k pvp and 411 pve (including Gambit so no player who logged in played one game of Gambit and logged out was left out). Because players play BOTH sides in a day you can’t even add them together for an approx 600k players yesterday because you would be counting some players twice. The actual number of players yesterday is probably somewhere between 200-400 players. You’re right to point out this is on 3 platforms, worldwide, in 24 hours. FOR CONTEXT!!! On May 1 last year (D2Y1 CoO): Destiny tracker showed 245k pvp and 424k pve. In September of last year (Forsaken): Destiny tracker showed 1.3million PvP and 2.6million pve. Yet everyday people say that this is the best Destiny has ever been and D2Y1 is the worst.
2 通の返信Have close to 200+ friends on the list from destiny 1/2 days . Not one of them are playing d2 at this moment . I think the majority of the player base left already. Saw some numbers that only 1200 crucible players on Xbox one played yesterday . Community ran for the hills quite some time ago . Black armory and season of the drift didn’t bring them back either.

4 通の返信100 person clan, I am the only one who still logs on, not one of them that I have spoken with is interested in coming back for next season or whatever Bungie will try and sell us in year 3.

They have lost total control of the community. Every twab is met with hate, every post is met with disrespect. This forum is how the majority feels. The minority has unfortunately become the majority. Bungie management needs to stop making shit changes and start make the right choices that make people happy. Blackout in reckoning on knights week. Bullshit. ***"ENHANCEMENT"*** cores for ***"INFUSION"*** Power levels meaning nothing. Reusing old content to force players to grind old stuff giving the illusion of a ton of content. These are all a few things i personally feel need a change, but they add to the players frustration so bungie management will keep it in. No enjoyment.

4 通の返信It's been 5 YEARS of bugs, glitches, lies and incompetence, it'll never change. Make peace with it, or leave. It's really simple

1 返信I think everything happening with this game is intentional by bungie. They don’t have man power to produce 2 major title simultaneously I think that’s why senior devs are leaving.

2 通の返信Prof Sheitbagにより編集済み: 5/5/2019 1:00:14 PMI left after I got TLW back in Jan-Feb time frame. Came back just this week to get the Thorn. After 3 months gone I wasn't expecting a massive change, and the revelry was a bit hokey. I want to say that I returned pleasantly surprised after 90 days, but the reality is this game is just as lifeless as when I left it. Bungie dug their grave letting Luke Smith run the show with D2, and with him working on D3 right now I have absolutely zero faith that product will be anything worth even the bargain bin. It is really a shame that so much potential was squandered because one man's ego could not let him just give the consumer what they were all unanimously stating on repeat. Remember everyone: Luke Smith was the guy back in 2005 complaining about Halo 2 because he was dumb enough to try and take out a warthog with an BR while it was heading towards him.

19 通の返信The forums is such a miniscule amout of the player base, that they dont matter at all. Just a place for people to cry and get it off their shoulders

Idk if this make sense at this point but there should’ve been separate nerfs and buffs since day one I understand that it’s getting better but the point isn’t to nerf just bring everything up to par yes you’re not forced to use only one thing but if it decreases grind time or increases dps why wouldn’t you want to use it?

8 通の返信It only looks that way because, so many people that aren't actually playing, are still posting threads here. People come and complain or call out people who don't agree with them, and use terms like, "fanboy," and, "Bungie apologist," to justify their personal issues with the game. People simply can't accept that their opinions aren't the majority. Whatever those opinions might be. Too many people, imo, think that Bungie has to bend to their will, and if Bungie doesn't, it means they hate the community or are lazy. It comes from a whole generation of gamers who were either not told no as children, or after being told no, they complained until their parents gave in, and now expect that same caving response any time they whine and make demands. It is also the impact of over saturated social media in our society. Everyone has a voice. Which is great, but it also brings the idea, if all my demands aren't met, then, "F you." The state of Destiny 2, isn't the best right now, but if you aren't enjoying it, you can simply go play something else. The daily numbers don't really matter. Since the launch of D1, there have been peaks and valleys of player engagement. But everytime that content gets played through numbers drop, until the new new comes out. Then numbers will go back up, only to eventually fall again. Which is perfectly okay. There are a ton of games to play. Playing something other than Destiny isn't a sin.

I’m still here but can’t talk for anyone but myself! It’s a great game. Beautiful art and music with a solid shooting based mechanic. It has massive flaws but would genuinely struggle to name a better game that I have sunk more hours into. DOOM and snap map took up months of my life. BUT..... destiny? I haven’t wasted this long on a video game since battle field 3.
