I think a better nerf to these hand cannons would be to reduce the damage done by magnificent howl significantly so you can only 3 tap at much shorter ranges. For example, they could make it so that you can only 3 tap when you are 2 damage off of optimum range. This would keep these weapons still powerful and worth the grind but would be much more situational like the other pinnacle weapons like recluse is only good when you get a kill and in very close ranges, and redrix broadsword where it's only useful when you reload with outlaw. These pinnacle weapons are powerful but they have their own playstyle to them which is a good balencing factor.
