The problem is not Luna and NF, it’s 180s altogether. There are two different metas on pc vs console and it’s all due to one reason; bloom and recoil. There are other handcannons that have competitive ttks but due to bloom and recoil they are unreliable compared to any 180. Fix other handcannons and stop the nerfs.
Ace has 57% of kills in comp on pc, Luna only has 10% and NF doesent even crack the top 5 list. So how is the perk op if it’s not a problem on PC? Answer is bloom and recoil. Now with this nerf we will still be in a 180 meta due to bloom and recoil.

My guess is it’s not very many compared to the number of players, so it seems this nerf is basically the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few. The perception crucible is “filled” with these weapons is likely more indicative of those people that have it play crucible much more (maybe exclusively), than the actual numbers would show in reality. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again... these top players would beat you with a spoon as primary and a fork as secondary, so doesn’t really matter in the end. I’ll finally have Luna in a couple days as more of a personal accomplishment trophy in the case. Hurts a tad that I’ll not get to reap the benefit much before the nerf comes but alas, it is what it is.

Meanwhile, there isn't a single pvp gamemode in which Erentil even appears in the top 5 most used energy weapons. Stop making Bs comparisons lmao.

11 通の返信PC meta is Ace and TLW. Console meta is Luna and Trust. Clearly we need to buff hand cannons, so everyone can just run hand cannons everywhere. Hand cannons in every slot is the only way to truly enjoy Destiny. -blam!-ing hunter mains.

1 返信If the erentil is the new Lunas/Nf, then great. At least everybody can get them. The reality of the situation is that these guns should not have been created in the first place. Way too powerful, and if you deny that you are just lying. The biggest problem with these guns is that it is driving players away. The so called relaxed playlist is now sweatier than ever.

8 通の返信This has been a long time coming. Once, I would never back out of a match, no matter how sweaty, no matter how kerb-stomped I got by the other team. Or even one really good player on the other team who runs away with the whole match. Not Forgotten/Dust Rock/Wardcliffe has broken the crucible. Time and again I go up against this load out. Whole teams with load outs that are similair. Other guns simply cannot compete. Now, if I'm chasing a crucible bounty and come up against this meta - I'm out. I return to orbit and try again. Bungie, through lack of forsight or whatever excuse or reason put the most stable long range hand cannons in the hands of the best players. What did they think was going to happen? Yeah, I know, "git good, scrub, filthy casual, blah blah" These guns reward precision right? You've got to be good to get them. If the guns are that good, and lets face it, they are, then what chance does the rest of the player base have at getting a decent fun run in the crucible on any given day? The players with these guns are not the majority of the player base and it is killing it for the rest. This game is bleeding players and this has got to be one of the reasons. I think Bungie know it. If you got these guns and you're that good anyway, I can't see dropping them to 150 being a problem for you and you will still sh1t on everyone you come up against anyway. In that case, is this a fix then? I don't know. What is the solution? If you are against trying this as a balance, then what is? If you bring up other hand cannons to directly compete then what's the point of having pinnacle weapons to grind for? Then owners of these guns have had their time wasted and that's unacceptable. Personally, I don't think there is a fix to this. The genie is out of the bottle and whatever happens, someone is getting sh!t on.

1 返信I’ve said it forever. No weapons will need nerfing is there was armor or armor mods to combat all the weapons. If it’s balance that is the goal. Why not have the armor be the yen to the yang? 🤷🏻♂️ Of course this would take planning and coordination between design teams...... Yeah, what was I thinking?

30 通の返信just make them exotics and the problem is solved. They are the best PVP handcannons in the game, they should be. They take tons of time to get. Even very good players have trouble getting them. The problem, IS THEY ARE LEGENDARY. Because of this, you get the best shotgun (DRB), the best handcannon, and the best heavy. This has been partially solved now since mindbenders ambition is probably marginally better than DRB, but not the way it should be. BUFF OTHER WEAPONS TO MAKE PEOPLE CHOOSE and MAKE THEM EXOTIC SO PEOPLE DO GET TO JUST USE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING. If I finally am able to get Not Forgotten this season, it’s going to be mighty disappointing to only have it for 1 or 2 days in its best form.

Cmon bungie. Get real here please. If you change all other HC to either 110 or 180 then Luna en NF will drop from the game all together. There will be no reason to get into comp at all anymore since there is no grind for it. And all you will see in crucible will just be 180 handcanons. People grinding out their service revolver for a NF ish roll. Great job there guys. I got the gun through blood sweat and tears some time ago and actually loved using it in pve. And I wanna bet you guys won’t even think about keeping the buff the same in pve right. No that would just be too much work. And the recoil of these guns is gonna for the 150 archetype isn’t it. Meaning it’s strength of being a precision gun is going to be extinct. Great job guys really. Thank you so much for making the effort myself my friends and so many others be for absolutely nothing. You must love shooting your self in the foot over and over again. Thinking back to launch of D2 and bad nerfs in D1. Its gonna be fun to see even more people move over to division. Love you guys for it.

Vigilance Wing: allow for two tap at fairly close range With a proper 3 body 2 head twice. All ten bullets landing this would make this weapon a beast again. Rat King: 3 tap at close range, 1 body 2 head Crimson: have that max range perk actually have max range, allow it to 3 tap just as far as NF. Last Word can already compete with Luna and NF If you have all primary exotics capable of the same thing, this would bring balance and make shotgunners, snipers and fusion runners actually respect a primary weapon. This will also fix Wardcliff running the exotic slot and people will actually aim their heavy again instead of shooting blindly at the red blip on your radar, dodge reload and try again. Im pretty sure, making players chose Luna, NF or Wardcliff will balance everything out. Its not just Luna and NF, its the combo of dust rock, luna OR NF And Wardcliff together that makes it an issue. This 3 weapon combo is OP, not Luna or NF. I’m pretty sure every Luna NF player has been worked by Last Word, Erentil, Mida, even trust in the right hands. Stop the nerfs, start with buffs.

But I remember getting Thorn after 6 months of grinding in D1 only to have you Nerf the shit out it 24hrs later. Why didn't you test it before you put it in? Excuses! After all these years we don't want to hear it anymore. Stop doing this. Bungie has some of the top tier people in the world making this game, you should be done when released. 3 通の返信Erentil? Really? You think a special ammo Fusion rifle will replace a primary handcannon. I don’t think so. The nerf isn’t making the handcannons into 150 archetypes they are still precision handcannons with the same recoil they just shoot a little slower.
