Yeah its been kind of a shit show. I'm working my way through some of the report right now but its too dense for me. I did find this particular line about obstruction if justice that I found interesting on page 220 of the PDF.
Because we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgement, we did not draw ultimate conclusions about the president's conduct. The evidence we obtained about the president's actions and intent presents difficult issurs that would need to be resolved if we were to make a traditional prosecutorial judgement. At the same time ee had confidence after a thorough investigation that the president had not committed obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgement. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him
But that was really the only interesting thing I've seen so far. Its in the hands of congress now.

They don't have to say hes innocent. Hes either charged (and convicted) or he is innocent. Period. Furthermore, that would be "obstruction" of the investigation into a crime the investigation does say did not occur.

He tried to get an investigation in Micheal Flynn ended, Flynn was convicted. He tried to end the investigation into Manafort who was convicted. He threatened Micheal Cohen's father on Twitter when Micheal announced he was testifying in front of Congress, witness tampering. And for the record our legal system doesn't find people "innocent" it finds them guilty or not guilty. Not guilty doesn't equal innocent. And no it really isn't the same. Its more like saying "we know we aren't the people who make this decision, its Congress' decision."

Its more like saying "we know we aren't the people who make this decision, its Congress' decision."
A) I haven't read the whole report, only parts of it. As far as I am aware Mueller is saying that there are some things that MAY have been obstruction. MAYBE. He didnt go as far as to say they were, and he didn't to as far as to say they weren't. The left, of course, is latching onto the "well he didnt say hes innocent" angle. My rebuttal is, he didnt allege that he did anything illegal. He stopped short of the traditional prosecutorial decision of "I think hes guilty" and that's enough. B) And for the record, you are not "guilty until proven innocent" you are innocent until proven guilty". is trump proven guilty? no. therefore he is, in fact, innocent. Even if Mueller did recommend charges trump would still in fact have the same presumption of innocence as anyone else until he was found guilty by a court, unless he hypothetically pled guilty. C) and no, Congress is not the department of justice, or the judicial system. Nancy Pelosi or whomever else can piss, scream, and moan all they want (and I know at least a few Democrat Congress critters will try) but Mueller's report does not constitute "high crimes and misdemeaners" and I will shit literal bricks from laughter if Nancy Pelosi thinks that they can move on impeachment after the revelation that no charges are even recommended. This thing has been a farce propped up by opposition research paid for by Hillary and the DNC. Nobody SHOULD BE surprised nothing significant came of this.
