Same here, what a load of crap. I’ve killed hundreds. Until it was Mercury this was not the case. I’m just about over this game.

This is a joke...really...kill Hive? Did the adventure, 8 of 9 Hive killed...can't do the adventure again. Tried strikes, of course never any Hive, just Vex and Fallen. And then you have to choose the Mercury strikes, so they do not count your progress for strikes. Am I the only one tired of the arbitrary number of enemy's too kill? A percentage that is never spelled out in some quests, and now in this one get 9...but you have to kill somewhere between 9 and 200 to complete...jeesh stop it already. Long time Destiny player, going back to D1, both games did preorders of all DLC, (after finding out about Destiny in D1). Sorry but I'm done. No more, the forges were not great content, fun for a very short while, then a tweak of Gambit...as the DLC? I paid in advance for something new, hardly seems new, kind of lazy. I heard the comments that stories take too long to create and that is why we get this. This is the exact opposite, what did it take a week or so to create the last 2 seasons? How about tweaking Escalation Protocol and calling that the next DLC. No strikes, no adventures, patrol zones only one raid, seems kind of short if you ask me. I have been an apologist for too long, this is exactly how not to get players to continue to play the game, nor attract players who have left. I have 3 characters, always the three of them leveled to what ever the max is each time it is raised. I just looked up my time in D2, It's embarrassing the amount of time that I have put in. Hunter 735 hrs, 39 minutes, Warlock 895 hrs 49 min, Titan 1087 hrs 10 min. Total time 2718 hours 38 min. That's 113.25 days, at 24 hours a day 7 days a week...almost 4 months straight...so I'd like to think that I am one of the players that Bungie likes to have. I was the last of my clan to call it quits, but it is time to say goodbye. I'll play a bit until the season pass that I paid for is done, won't renew, and won't play D3. Too much hoping things will get better...Hire me an I'll help you tweak your game to retain players, it would take less effort than story missions, but probably more the the week or 2 that you've spent on the past 2 seasons. I know some will say that look at the value that you have received, you've played a lot. While this is true, I would also say paying in advance is an incentive to try and get your moneys worth. There is another game coming out in a few months, another Looter/Shooter that I spent probably as much time with in the past, and always felt like there more to do even after completion. While I will give the respect to this thread and not mention that games name, it is how to do Looter/Shooters. A ton of things to do, 100 times more weapons, and story driven. You can play offline if you choose as well as co-op, 2 things I've sacrificed, willingly to this point, but sacrificed nonetheless.

I concur. My friend and I just wasted 2 hours trying to get the cabal kills. Fortunately we encountered hive in the infinite forest during the Garden World strike. Those kills counted. The cabal kills aren't registering after the first sample collected. Bungie better fix this.
