#GAMING - Do you play by a "moral code" in games?

By the title I don't mean are you using religion or anything like that while you play. I'm not even really sure that "moral" was the right choice for this, but maybe more of a "self imposed" code. What I mean is, are there things in games that you just simply will not do, weapons you will not use, combos that you never touch, anything like that because you see those things as "cheap" or cheating? If so, have you ever crossed that line in the sand you made and started doing or using said "cheap" tactics, weapons, combos, and the like? Example: I play World of Tanks a lot anymore. In it there are some tanks that are clearly known to be over powered, and it could even be said are unfair to use for they are so overwhelmingly better in their respective tiers. A couple of these tanks in particular or tanks lines even I would staunchly never play because I felt that they were unfair and the people that used them were blatantly bullying everyone else in the game with them. To a certain extent, that part is true, and some of these tanks are that much more potent than their competition. Well, I despised artillery in particular. They sit at the back of the map, unseen, untouchable, and rain hell upon all whom they can. They change the way the mostly horizontal battle of the game is played. You never know if you're targeted by one. After about 3 years of playing and hating the sky demons, I got fed up and decided to get one of the most hated and known in game purchase artillery tanks to do my best to get even. In short, it turned out that by using it and finally starting my own line of artillery tanks, it made me better in my other tanks against them. I knew better of where they could hit me on most maps, and where they couldn't. So all in all I was hurting myself by hating them and not learning them. There are a couple of other similar situations in that game, but more or less the same outcome. I've found the same type of instances in other games I've played. Some of which I still have not broken my stance on. Have you any gaming experiences where you won't do or use something? Are you still playing under the same mindset?
