On console thorn needs some consistency help. Range is an issue, recoil is an issue and the flinch it takes is an issue. Although its a 150 rpm i treat thorn like a 110 rpm, in doing so i found alot of success but it is a play style i dont like. That peek and shot style is not for me. One eyed mask works great with thorn, six cayote for hunters is solid too, going invis and being able to land first shot usualy gets you the kill/assist/ or they run away, slap 5 paragon mods if you have. The chest for hunters that gives you 2 knives is great too for blade barrage. Those knives are much easier to land when compared to top and bottom tree gun slinger. For warlocks i use A. Aspect arms for fast handling across any class. Now when i get the getaway artist i already have a build waiting for it, 5 nade mods, bomber perk on boots and enhanced HC flinch and Enhanced HC aim, thorn plus the last dance side arm with quick draw, high cals, range MW and kill clip. I have over 900 pvp defeats on this sidearm, my baby, ohh and mid tree storm caller so ionic traces give me nades back. Hope these help man. Most importantly have fun.
