The Competitive playlist should be the place where most people play Crucible.
They just need a reason.
Guarantee Legendary gear for everyone after the game, win or lose.
This is such a small change that will actually make people feel ok playing comp because they know they might not get the rank up, but there is a chance at some God roll weapons.
Edit: Reading the replies to this only confirms how stupid this community is, or at least how stupid the vocal community is.
"People back out of games!" Maybe they wouldn't if they got guaranteed loot at the end.
"Luna's and Not Forgotten are enough of an incentive!" What about after you get them? Why would you bother playing comp anymore?
My idea is actually obvious for a loot based game. More people should be in comp than quick play so that it isn't only filled with recoveries and streamers.

They cannot bear to make it the slightest more easier because of the backlash that would cause. 1. Redrix Claymore was turned into a long doable quest for everyone 2. They just admitted to wanting more engagement last week It’s all very pointless

a.) Remove the round based game modes.. having to endure 11rounds in defuse the bomb is horrible.. b.) make overlapping ranks.. randk 1 can play against 1 and 2 , rank 3 can play 2,3,and 4 and rank 5 can play against 4 and 5.. (highest) c.) get some stacking bounties that give you points and let you grind up towards the pinnacle weapons..

11 通の返信Why would I want to subject myself to shitty load times. Shit game mechanics. Super sweaty try hards. PvP in D2 has sucked ass to the point I don't even play it. PvP is the same META dust rocks/lunas or NF/wardcliff Strategy is the same try to spawn camp them. Outside of that there is not much variation with PvP

1 返信The reason I don't want to play comp isn't because it doesn't drop legendary gear. It's because the matchmaking literally always puts stacked groups against solo players, regularly starts games off with less players one one team, and has you lose glory despite these issues and many more. All they would have to do to fix comp is get rid of glory loss. OR get rid of the player queue counter to deter the queue dodgers.

Comp. needs better matchmaking: look at my game history for proof. I'm constantly near the top in fireteam points or K/D, sometimes overall, and my win percentage is 28%. It's impossible to make progress, when your team is always doing the dumbest shit in every match.

Its fair and gives players a decent chance at ranking up to fabled and legend. If your in the top 10% of players ranking up will be fast. Those players below that still have to grind to get pinnacle weapons. Also how armor that benefits players in PvP. Enhanced perks for Crucible armor would be a great step forward in Comp. In QP, those perks could be lessened to give players a choice and a chance.

3 通の返信I went in comp for the 25 kills for the allegiance quest because quickplay is sweatier than comp now. Also Im at 0 glory so I get matched with people at the same level and I can actually have fun playing. I will go in comp again for the Thorn void kills.

1 返信The incentive is team up and enjoy 4v4. Too many bad tempered players out there who haven't learnt to lose in life and quit on the first hurdle. Snowflakes, you know who you are..

1 返信Competitive should have its own armor set that rolls with Enhanced or unique PvP oriented perks. I would say save this kind of stuff for Trials but Bungie is so hesitant on bringing it back currently.

1 返信I mean getting access to the west PvP weapons in the game should be enough. Lunas howl requires some grinding for an average player but is definitely doable. I haven't tried myself this season but supposedly sub rankups are giving powerful rewards.

I just started the Luna's Howl quest. You'd think crushing my dreams over and over again would be enough of an player incentive to hop in and play a bit. (Yes, this is a joke) (sorta) (No, seriously, stop kicking my ass)

LH and NF.... it’s nuts that pinnacle weapons which are aren’t just cosmetic are a thing... let’s only give the players who account recovery/have skilled friends or who can solo it a faster TTK! What can go wrong... oh hang on.

First, the argument starts COMPLETELY on the wrong foot............. an opinion, passed off as a fact, with nothing to back it up. "The Competitive playlist should be the place where most people play Crucible". Really? Why? Quickplay does exactly that, which is the REASON quickplay exists! It's there so people can just get a game or 2 or 5 in. So right off the bat, stating Comp is where people SHOULD play is inherently wrong. Yes, it's your opinion, but your facts prove your opinion wrong from the very beginning. QP is where the majority of players should be simply because that's the usage & definition of quickplay! After getting past the incorrect start to your point, engrams won't matter to those who don't like comp. I'd be willing to bet there are just as many comp players as there are people who do 5 crucible matches per week for a powerful engram.............. people that couldn't give a damn about the crucible, and do the bare minimum for a powerful drop and/or quest step. A random roll lower drop won't appeal to people who just want to hit max rank and ignore the crucible.

1 返信Quickplay should be disabled for users once they have gotten pinnacle comp weapons... That would force them to play in Comp.
