Hows everyone doing? Was wondering if anyone here plays Path of Exile on PC or Xbox. I've been waiting a few months for this title to drop for the PS4, but they keep delaying it. I guess my biggest question is, is it as hard to understand as it looks? Most of the time I learn by playing, but I've been trying to get a leg up on the game by reading and watching videos. Most the time I walk away scratching my head. Looks like a buffed up Diablo 2, and I loved that game back in the day. So what can you tell me about it? Any good YouTube build guys you can refer. Any insights about the game? So far I've been watching ZiggyD videos, but I'm not sure if they are still relavent since they just had a new expansion. Have a good one! Edit: Grinding Gear Games just announced a March 26th release for PS4 for those interested.
I want to like it, especially since it was a free download, but the lag is just too frustrating and a bummer. Maybe I'll go back to it if they fix it.

It’s a sweet make that turns the game into D2 with a few quality of life changes such as a separate inventory for all your charms. Now you can loot gear while having an inventory full of skill charms.
Well I only played it a little bit on Xbox, and I didn't like it. And that's my favorite genre of games. It's very confusing, it'll take a long time to learn. Instead of learning skills you find gems that you must socket into equipment to use the ability. There is no currency really, you basically sell items for other items and in turn buy new items with those items. Think there's like 100 different types of "currency". When you get skill points, all of them are passives for the most part. If you don't find a good build online you won't be able to play endgame, and there is no real Respec to fix your character. I think my biggest issue is all the lag I seem to get on Xbox. I play every other multiplayer game just fine, but something is wrong with it to me. Also there is an accuracy system, so in the beginning I would miss like 50% of my attacks, that drives me crazy. Too bad there isn't any kind of solo play like Diablo. I'm probably gonna try to give it another shot at some point, but it's just really overwhelming to me.
