I love this game I really do. It's been a long tough road, but after this 4th rendition of The Court of Oryx...come on man...
Edit: For the D2 noobs, Court of Oryx is a D1 game mode where you grind for runes with different tier levels. You use the runes to activate the tier you want, kill enemies that spawn from the event, then collect loot. Sound familiar?

2 通の返信Ive finally run out of gas for this game. I've been around since D1 day one and I can't run this LL grind anymore for 3 characters. I don't even like Gambit. It was a mistake for them to bump the LL up again and have content based solely on Gambit. Then the nerfs just took the cake, they're so out of touch.

2 通の返信Personally I like it. I hopped on D1 during the DLC download. I thought I would NEVER say this, but that game SUCKED!! I did a couple strikes, a solo Challenge of Elders, Prison of Elders, a some open world stuff. I have to say that it really wasnt much fun at all.

I've played since D1 and taken breaks now and then but this is the first time I have felt completely underwhelmed. I have no drive to get to 700 as it means playing the same thing each week that I have been doing so for what seems like a lifetime.

i think it would have been a good move to reset all the vendor stuff like when forsaken came out, so new armor, shaders and weapons making the factions like they were in D1 and adding strike exclusive loot like again back in D1...also fixing the collections so we can reclaim all the stuff we cant earn anymore like right now we cant earn the vanguard dare armor set so if you dismantle it you cant get it back anymore.

Very disappointed! Was hopeful that a 1-match Gambit mode would draw me in, but I really don't like Gambit in any form. And we get a new mode that is tied back to Gambit, no thanks. So that leaves us with grinding the same old stuff again. Same strikes, gear, weapons, Vendors that have the same stuff, Vendors that are meaningless, same infusion system that sucks, etc. the list goes on. There's new emotes though, the dog treat one is so BA. Haven't played in several weeks and after heading to the tower, trying Prime, and rushing through the Flashpoint only to get something at 651 I literally sat staring blankly at the menu screen thinking "well this sucks"...powering off.

This episodic delivery of content isn't working. It feels like they took one big DLC and split it apart and that just doesn't work - there's no 'wow' moments like there was with Fortsaken, just small and usally insignificant 'oh, that's....new' moments that are quickly forgotten. They need to go back to the previous way but the problem there is that the game has to be engaging enough to keep players interested in the interim and right now it isn't, that's how we ended up in this situation. They've just been chasing thier tails since the release of D2 by trying to fix a broken and lacklustre game. I've gone from a D1 player, D2 beta and constant player to almost completely inactive. I might try some gambit and the new modes but they've not addressed any of the big problems with it, just added more ways for those to happen, so I doubt that will keep me interested very long. At this point I'm really looking forward to the release of Div2. I think Bungee should give up on D2 and put all thier energy into makikng a proper D3 that y'know, doesn't completely ignore all the learning from the previous games.

1 返信ComprisedHenにより編集済み: 3/7/2019 3:16:50 AMwhat disappoints me most about all of this is that I distinctly remember Bungie saying before the launch of d2 that we were going to have more drops of updates and activities and the like so that unlike d1 we wouldnt have the long stretches were it felt like there was nothing but repeating the same few raids (or at certain times in its life cycle one raid) and trials matches for real endgame activities. now I dont know about you but ive felt like the waits between these real content drops that actually grab my attention are even farther apart than they used to be and are far more disappointing each time they show up. like how this new season is just including a new version of Gambit, and a mode that tears the people who actually want to play Gambit Prime away from that mode if they want to grab the armor from it, why not just have the reckoning be its own mode with its own rewards? and then theres the fact that this seasons roadmap is incredibly lacking, 4 of the big milestones on it are just the map for gambit prime changing, we get one map each week and we can only play that map until this season is almost over, why? and then another three of these updates coming just add higher level versions of the reckoning for us to play, now, these dont sound too bad as long as there is other stuff to be released thats more worthwhile, right? well there are only eleven bulletpoints on the roadmap, 7 of them are just a map getting switched, or higher light editions of an activity ( that might include a new map to go along with it) lets also not forget that two of these are free events that didnt even require purchase of the annual pass to gain access to, so only 9 of these come from the annual pass purchase, that means over 70% of this season is going to be barely noticeable to the majority of players, especially since the last one regarding gambit prime itself is just going to put all of the maps in the rotation, like they should have been since yesterday, especially when you consider that one of these maps is not even new, emerald coast is the one map on this gambit prime rotation that is just going to be lifted from standard gambit into the new gambit prime mode, so we only really get 3 new gambit maps instead of 4. at least when a new forge unlocked in the last season there were new weapons that would become available for us to grind out and make things a bit more interesting, and add new weapons for us to test out, here nothing is really gonna be a noticeable difference later down the line, cause even 5 or 6 years later if someone unlocks those forges they will be unlocking new equipment for themselves to experiment with, but if they unlock gambit prime theyll just skip this 3 week long waiting period we've got to actually get all these maps into the rotation and actually have the full extent of this new mode. its extremely clear with this roadmap that they didnt have very much to add to the game and were just trying to expand how much they could make it look like they had added to this game, which is probably what disappoints me the most about this game at the moment.

ScotchEggsRulesにより編集済み: 3/7/2019 6:51:36 AMI finally convinced myself to log in yesterday....absolutely sweet fa to do and glitches everywhere and powerful challenges give you an item 1 LL above your current (are you kidding me!). This dlc is a total mess. My usually busy clan and friends page had 8 people on it to play with and for a new dlc, that seems terminal to me, especially considering the opening day figures of 560k.

2 通の返信Gambit Prime is terrible, worse than Gambit. Maybe the Reckoning is decent but the rewards are tied to Gambit, so still worthless. \
