Hello! I have made a Buff Suggestion To Fix, and Maybe Rework Nova Warp! Let me know if this is a good idea?

So here's some ideas that could make Nova Warp better: So instead of focusing on range, why not make it a damage charge up? Now hear me out, I don't mean return it to a one shot super, that's just plain ol' mean. I mean increase the damage on a charged attack to where it'll actually do more damage. So what exactly do I want other than that? I'll tell you: -Instead of nerfing the duration by 7 seconds, it would've been better to tune the duration down to a 4-5 second nerf off the original super duration. 4.5 seconds would be more reasonable. -As I said above, why focus on range, when voidwalkers typically love their high damage? Make the range exactly the same for both explosions, but make it in between the charged and normal explosion pre-nerf Nova warp. When you charge the attack, it does more damage, but it would be smart not let it ohk (One hit kill) other supers. That would just bring us back to the start! What you have to to is a normal explosion that isn't charged, act as a normal super hit. One hit takes half his/her health while in their super. But a charged hit takes 2.8/4 of their health, so on the second non-charged explosion, they will die! In over of these effects, Nova warp damage should be close of damage like a Golden Gun, Way of the Sharp-Shooter skill tree. Of course, since Nova warp can't get criticals unless the enemy is tethered by Shadowshot. So that's why I say it's kind of like Golden Gun. If these effects are added on both sides of the game (PVE and PVP), this will basically be a re-buff to Nova Warp. Causing it to be balanced in the crucible, and be helpful in PVE scenarios. -What else is wrong with the super? I only have 2 problems with this super: 1. The Warp energy consumption 2. Slow normal (Not while charging a Blast) movement speed. The warp energy cost is a bit too much, and it was still too much pre-nerf of Nova Warp. Also in this super you move slower than a Stormtrance, Nova Warp should be about the same speed as Stormtrance since your basically hovering in the air like a Stormtrance. I know the warp makes you move a bit faster. But as I said above about the warp energy cost, it effects how "Roaming Super Fanatics" (People like me who love all roaming supers) can even use this super. Not that it completely sucks, but it's been put that it's useless by some people. It's mainly useless in PVE. If you take the steps above on what to do with Nova Warp. Hopefully (I don't know if it's guaranteed, because I ain't no game designer.), Nova Warp can be balanced with everything. Thank you for your time if you read this!

  • I feel they tightened the super with a torque wrench when a hand tightening was all it needed. Like what was the point of docking it by 7 seconds when you already made everything you do cost 60% more energy?? One or the other. Heck you used to be able to solo clear the ads in Shuro Chi's room with 1 Nova Warp. Now you barely have enough energy to clear the first wave!? It was 100% solid in pve as it stood. Maybe a slight dmg buff verses yellow bars, but it wasn't needed. Without a doubt, the best trash mod super in the game. A proposed change. Assuming we are starting back to basics. Mostly PvP in mind. *Make it last 25 seconds again (idle) * Max charge bomb drains 1/6th so if you do nothing except max blasts you can get off 6 of em. * Max charge blast radius caps at roughly 12m which is roughly the size of a fist of panic. So you still gotta be close-ish and this will also reduce the "omfg I got killed behind a wall" stuff. Max blast will 1hk high armor guardians, and 2 bang any super. * Half charge has a Max blast of 5-6m and can 1hk low armor Guardians in PvP. Mind you 6 meters is literally melee distamce for most classes. So if you are that close, you should get that kill. This will drain 1/10th so at most you can get off 10 tiny Boops. 3-4 to kill a super. *Holding a charge while moving makes you slower (which they already did) *Using blink docks your bar by 1/10th as well so you can't just spam warp, but if you do, you won't also be able to spam mini blasts. *Keep the armor the same as every other roaming super which is roughly 55% unless your a Invis Spectral blade cause why not... *Getting multi kills (like 5-6+) extendes the super duration by 20%. With the above changes, this simply can not happen in PvP unless you are hardcore spawn trapping poor souls. Or all six of them are stupid enough to be hugging you. Literally can't happen in comp. It won't even by "infinite" like the Titans new buff is as the odds of wiping out 6+ enemies in one blast is only possible in areas with massive ad spam such as strikes, Raids, Shattered throne and Whisper mission. Just my opinion
