Shotgun Discussion
How does everyone feel about shotguns? I find them very annoying in things like comp, but do you think they need a nerf? Either a range or ammo nerf. Or should they stay the same? People who main shotguns will most likely not want them nerfed, but try and be somewhat considerate.

1 返信I feel like side arms and sub machine guns should be the counter for shotguns but they aren't. Either they need a buff or shotties need a range reduction

I’d say reduce the overall range of shotguns to make it so that they have a lower OHK range overall as well as complete damage fall-off when damage fall-off starts, but decrease the spread a lot so it’s not as inconsistent but when you’re out of range it doesn’t do any damage.

I feel like I die a little each time I shoot some one in their face while they are running right at me only for them to one shot me before I can kill them.... I guess I do. I am not calling for a nerf to them, just a buff to everything else.

It was solely due to not having anything strong at your disposal to survive the clutch situations since everybody holds hands in this game now. If we are to nerf the solution then why did we ask for it? The solution to your annoying demise aint a nerf and rng driven engagements but wider maps and stronger primaries, and possibly a fix for lack of awareness at where to place yourself in maps... Thats it

1 返信It’s only certain ones that need the nerf but only in PVP because you have no more CQB fights that aren’t shotgun battles and it’s not fun

I mean it kind of reminds me of Halo 4 pvp. The best loadout was bolt pistol and battle rifle with pro vision. It was super unbalanced but it was all about who was the best with it. Shotguns fo have a large skill gap. Yes anyone pick one up and go seal clubbing in console QP. But I'm talking about mastery what it takes in fabledish comp you start seeing some guys who you can tell are good with shotguns. And getting passed that you see people who know exactly when to use it and exactly how far it will work and exactly how quickly they can be melted when closing distance.
