Just bring back ammo synth! Or increase a substancial increase drop for heavy ammo, sometimes i cant even get ammo with full armor mod for heavy drop

Remember back on season 1 how heavy only dropped from yellow bars, but assured drops? What’s wrong with that? For example, you go to leviathan to speedrun, if you aren’t stacking whisper bullets from the second encounter(without giving hand, of course that changes everything), you won’t have heavy for calus. There’s yellow bars everywhere, but no assured heavy drop. It’s designed like year 1, no rally flags, theoretically you wouldn’t need them with all the yellow bars, but bungie overlooked that changing how heavy dropped in the whole game affecting leviathan.

The way heavy drops right now Bungie literally has their coding [b](Backwards)[/b] when using heavy ammo finder in certain areas in this game. That is ridiculous... on top of it, they throttle heavy ammo in this game and call that making certain events a "challenge" instead of using their bran and making things an actual challenge. So, since their system is broken adding being able to purchase ammo and leave how things are would improve things. Edit: All Bungie has to do is leave things how they are and apply the heavy ammo that you purchase to D-pad. it's something they should have done years ago. Or [b]They can do what they should have done a while back and fix their backward's coding and stop throttling heavy ammo, problem solved[/b]

4 通の返信DO NOT EQUIP MULTIPLE INCREASE DROP CHANCE MODS!!! They are seriously bugged right now. Equipping Only 1 heavy ammo perk will work properly if you equip more then 1 your drop chance decreases DRAMATICALLY. Im not joking their was a whole Reddit post that spent days testing the numbers and drop chances, equipping multiple of the drop chance perk makes things worse.

I thought there was a bug on having all armor with the heavy ammo perk, like it canceled itself out. I run with 1 (usually class item) and heavy drops frequently. Friends and I have tested this out and in most cases having it on just ONE piece of armor dropped more heavy than having multiple pieces. But who knows could be they fixed it or something I don't know.

3 通の返信Bungie will add them back in and interpret it as an enhancement. 10 cores per synth. As bronze189 stated, don't stack heavy perks. I still get purple with two heavy perks, but not as often. Add a Primary ammo finder into the mix and purple bricks become non-existent for me.

1 返信D1 I used 1000's of synths. But you know I actually prefer the challenge in D2 of occasionally not having heavy left. However I have found running both heavy ammo finder and scavenger for whichever heavy type I've equiped to be quite effective. Especially in gambit.

6 通の返信If they bring them back, I want them to have a few changes. First, I would remove the cooldown. It literally served no purpose other than to annoy raid teams by making them wait 5 minutes. It should be removed entirely for convenience. Second, I would make them much more expensive. It was always kind of stupid how people had hundreds of them all the time. They made heavy ammo basically unlimited if you waited for the cooldown.

Ah yes, just think, running with WOW {missed shots, no problem} or Thunderlord with unlimited ammo to draw from. Run with Heavy Ammo, whatever heavy, i.e., rocket launcher, machine gun, etc, Scavenger and whatever heavy Reserves perks and you should have no problem. Plus you actually have to kill stuff to get the drops.

2 通の返信It's actually glitched to where you get less ammo to drop if you have more than one of the same Ammo Finder perks on. Just use one of each and I wouldn't even bother with Primary Ammo Finder because it already falls like rain.

11 通の返信Also this is like asking for bounties back so we can fly to every single destination and then play the game to be rewarded. It's obtrusive and honestly dumb [u]when you actually think about it[/u]. Lets not forget the issue is inconsistent ammo acquirement. So in other words it just needs to be made consistent as you play. Something mission design should be responsible for. Putting it on the economy is going to make that the problem instead.

7 通の返信No. To be very honest, no. This is better. I tried D1 synth the other day and didnt like it. Can you imagine going into your menu while completing the Niobe Labs puzzle? This is better.

1 返信Was doing Escalation Protocol the other day and not a single heavy brick dropped till the 6th wave, it's so annoying sometimes

3 通の返信I've had gambit games where the enemy team constantly got heavy drops while I didn't get a single brick to drop the entire match.
