Got some hate mail for sniping in crucible.
Last night I was really bored, and I didn’t know what to play. I was kinda tired of shotgunning in crucible so I decided to try sniping.
I pulled out my supremacy with snapshot and rampage and gave it a whirl.
I’ve never had so much fun in crucible. It took me a few matches to get used to it, but all that sniping in D1 came back to me...... and then I literally couldn’t be stopped. I was getting 30+ kill games with over 2.5 efficiencies, with half my kills being sniper kills.
Anyway, this titan activates his hammers and came around a corner in a match, only to be instantly obliterated by a headshot with my sniper 😂 He sent me hate mail afterwards
But shotguns isn’t the only weapon you can use people! Experiment!! Try new loadouts! Just have fun in crucible and see what else works!

1 返信But but snipers can’t one shot a super. I did it twice in one match. Was told numbers don’t lie. Well the proof is in the pudding.

I always had a lot of respect for snipers, even though they pissed me off to no end in D1. (At least when that was the meta) Takes way more skill than shotgunning. It’s the one shot kill that’s infuriating. You see the glint and then...dead. Sometimes you don’t even know it’s coming. That brief moment of “wtf?!”, then “oh, sniped...”. I get being pissed but I just respect the skill.

1 返信You messed up posting this mate, you thought the hatemail was weird? Enjoy all the toxic negative comments. Good going though! Wish I was decent at sniping. My PvP gameplay has gone to crap since I took two months off, and it wasn't amazing beforehand :D

One of my friends once got called a “meta using piece of trash with no skill” by a dude who was running: -Shards of galanor blade barrage -dust rock blues -Luna’s howl -wardcliff The guy kept spamming him with messages for a good thirty minutes 😂😂

1 返信I used to love using No Land Beyond with Longbow Synthesis in D1. Double sniper fun. Snipers are not as fun in D2, I think because I never get any with snapshot. So hard to quick scope when it takes 3 seconds to aim down sights.

Other weapons (subs and side arms) are just as good and more fun to use. Running around with dusk rock, Luna and BB is whack, and I have no respect for this play style. I can respect a good snipe or someone using a fusion

6 通の返信It's a special type of stupid that lets people actively take time out of their day to send angry messages to other people. I've never gotten more hate mail since I started using Le Monarque, which apparently pisses people off more than when I was using Luna and Dust Rock 🤯
