I’m not the greatest pvp crucible comp player, but I set out to get Luna’s howl anyways. After all, if I win at least half of the time, I’d get it eventually, right? It took a lot of time, a lot of matches; and now I’m on the last step. The impossible step, for a player that has a win loss comp ration of 34%. I loose far, far too much. Now I don’t mind loosing in a game where the match is neck and neck, adrenaline kicking in, fighting harder. That’s fun. But that hardly what I encounter. We get stomped. Again, and again, and again. People quitting during the match when we’re loosing. Left 3v4, 2v4, and even 1v4. So stats show that I’d be more successful if we 4 stack. So i try to find a fire team in the companion app. What do I find? Multiple different glory recoverists and carriers setting up teams. Cool, let’s see if they want to help. Their response? “pay me?” I ain’t paying nobody squat. Other people are inboxing me to try to get me to pay for their services. I have been trying to get Luna’s howl for months. Brave 1 to guardian 1, rinse repeat. I just can’t compete against these players who are out of my league. Like I can appreciate that these “recovery specialists” have a business plan, with websites and whatnot, but they are ruining the game for people who actually want to earn it. I think I’m done with this game.

If your win ratio is only 34% playing solo then you need to work on your skills. Notice the players that are out playing you in 1v1s. Are they out strafing you? Are the out maneuvering you? Baiting you? Record some of your gameplay and watch it back. You will notice all of your mistakes. Now work on recognizing those mistakes while you are playing. You need to be thinking and playing in such a way that you always have the advantage in a gunfight. If you are dying more than you are killing than you are hurting your team. If you are dying first you are hurting your team. Winning comp matches is more about staying alive and not making mistakes that help the enemy team.

I read a strategy last season that said if you lose switch your gear up to crap that you would never play and go into quick play and lose on purpose. When you do that and go back into comp it changes up the mix and you get paired with people much better than you are I got carried most of last season tward the end or last challenge. I got Luna’s and have not played comp since I didn’t even finish I got to the last points and let the weekly reset give me the remaining points. It was a brutal grind west of sun fall and telesto were my friends throughout that grind. Good luck

It took me over 400 games to get Luna last season with a 47% W/L ratio. I can’t imagine with your W/L ratio you could get it. One thing that helped, was I switched to using meta classes and weapons. If you’re using anything but a blade barrage Hunter with a god rolled pulse/shotgun or HC/shotgun, you might want to switch to that.

ALBOBOSSにより編集済み: 12/26/2018 3:56:00 AMI don't think I have encountered many very skilled players like the ones you mention. I got Luna's last season and on my way to the mountain top this season and no issues playing solo. I am a fairly average player.

LordShaxxにより編集済み: 12/25/2018 5:05:25 PMHow does recov posts have anything to do with your crappy win loss ratio. You are not entitled to a Luna. It was designed to be for the average to good players. NF is designed for the good to top tier players. Obviously you are below average so git gud & stop complaining. There are plenty of normal fireteams looking for people on LFG. If you are not accepted into those it means youre just not up to par.

What system are you playing on? If we are on the same one, I can help you if you'd like. I got my Luna's last season.

Anybody that would pay real world money for somebody else to get them a gun in this game has some serious issues. It kinda makes my feel bads sad.

I wish it was 3v3 back in the ToO days it was all carries no recovs. I believe carries are fair but recovs are kinda bad. That said they aren't too common on console. I see 2-3 posts offering but clearly they don't have enough buisness cause they always need people to apply xD. Don't worry about it. I recommend you make friends with what competent blueberries you meet in solo que and stack up with them. On both sides, you can do this good sir :)

Those ppl shoveling money and usual ppl getting hammered and Bungie just watching from side (some of them are very often on Twitch streams even so they exactly know what happening) Also i may get some heat for that but IDK , OSK being first to get Reddrix Claymore and Luna and NF has getting shoutout by Bungie employees on Tweeter many times and he DO not denies his actions - he make paid recoveries all the time and ,he is "helping the community" , ppl who love the game do not milk out its own community and piggibacking its fooking HIPOCRICY There are many ppl like that ,more or less obnoxious. Bungie should do what Massive devs has done > The Division< some time ago , they went in streamers live in search of hackers and ban all hackers who ruined experience ON THE SPOT , so give those Destiny "sherpas" 2 warnings if they continue BAN them for exploiting and degrade experience for others. And on outside ppl who promotes the game are fine but looking form inside they are one of many reasons why ppl dont want to play comp and trails later on.
