1 - Raid banner or something equivalent. Particularly for events that failed, where people will leave to rally a flag and then return. The game should offer an ammo flag at the beginning to replenish all your ammo (not super energy), so people don't have to leave to return.
2 - The loading screens. Activate = Loading screen. Beat it = loading screen. Abandon activity = Loading screen. Too much waiting for starting, ending and leaving the Forge. This can easily be fixed by allowing the activity to be selected from Orbit, similar to how we can access strikes from the director.
3 - Quicker AFK protection. Some players don't realize that if you do nothing, you stay in the event. Some decide to go make a sandwich or something, and you see AFKers at the beginning for either the whole event, or extended periods of time. Considering how quick you have to work in Forges, either require people to rally up to confirm they want to be in the event, or remove people who are AFK much quicker than other events

2 通の返信Personally, I'd like some more time in the forge. 2 or 3 minutes would be nice. Trying to complete it in 1 minute is just insane. I know that the timer can be extended by killing yellow-bars, but it never feels like its enough.

I wouldn’t mind an option to stay with the team that matchmaking gives you. I had a decent team and we came really close to beating the boss and if we had mother shot I believe we could have beaten it. The next few matchmaking teams I was in there were people at 600-605 light. I’m only 613 but with a 600 there is no chance might as well 2 man it. I did end up getting teamed up with 2 people lvl 25 and we beat it no problem. I understand I was under leveled but at least for the first 2 rounds I could hold my own. For the boss I saved my heavy and super so I did help with the boss I just was not able to stay alive for a long period of time.

I’ve had long streaks where not a single ammo brick will drop from enemies and by the time the boss round comes all I can do is tickle him with what little primary ammo I have left. I can see why Whisper is the go to heavy for any activity.

Bump, bungie needs to see this and execute on all of the above, it loads me into a forge without being able to back out sometimes it is that quick and feel bad for the people I abandon. And many times where I run through the forge with no heavy drops with 3-4 heavy ammo finders like... K. Great Post, Bungie please adapt!

Time is a non-factor with a good team (I've beaten the final boss with 58 seconds left before) but it's just an annoying mechanic to deal with when paired with sub-par randoms. I actually liked the nightfall timers but this is just annoying. +15 seconds or so would be nice for the final boss. I've had so many runs just short of killing him that we could have done with just a few more seconds. Or just remove them and add some more mechanics to actually make it interesting.

9 通の返信The loading screens is definitely an oversight. Just let us pick it from the director instead of having to load into a destination to just go activate it. Also batteries need some work. Pick up detection is terrible. I’ll stand on a battery for a couple seconds longer than needed cause I’m not sure I picked it up. Then there are times I don’t wait and assume that it’s just lagging and I don’t end up with it. And can we all agree that batteries bouncing off the forge is BS???

4 通の返信This is my list of minor annoyances. They haven’t stopped me from completing the forge but they don’t help! Need to fix the delay when picking up batteries. Sometimes has a second or two of lag time. Allow teammates to pick up a battery that was thrown and missed. My experience, only thrower can pick it up and it auto picks up when running over it... this is extremely annoying. Have had first round start while still on black screen or teammates still on black screen. Had rounds end with time still on clock (not at 20 batteries) and had rounds extend well after timer hits 0 (timer was on 0, not time added back). Side note: For all that is good, use masterwork weapons and a class item that heals on orb pick up if you have no other way to heal besides not taking damage.

7 通の返信Just add 3 more players to matchmaking, so it will be on par with Escalation Protocol and Blind Well if those activities had matchmaking.

3 通の返信The endless servitor invincibility loop on the second forge deserves a mention. For those that dont know, sometimes you'll end up with the boss servitor making smaller servitors immune, and then one of those will be making the boss immune, can easily waste a full minute or more of dps time.

2 通の返信Actually I like the fact that you can walk into the forges from patrol. I wish strikes had that option. We have precious little world to explore as it is. That said I wouldn’t be opposed to have both options, walk in and director select. What bungie could change is not keeping you in the matchmaking pool after the event finishes. Since they’re breaking up the randoms anyways there is no need and it would pull the AFK people out. I definitely agree on the ammo situation, either have a flag load up or really increase the heavy drop rate. Going for a public event flag and then having to go back is annoying. Add to that the fact that people screen for power level and leave and you can spend quite a while in front of a black screen.

1 返信Wouldn't hurt if the forges, once you unlock them after the step quests, are similar to entering raid/raid lairs/planet specific strikes; just highlight over the icons where they're located and click to start the activity. I'm not sure what the thought process was in how they are now, but it's a significant quality of life issue that isn't being treated like some of the other activities that are readily available to start at a moment's notice. That and the timer for when the event actually ends is extremely short. Most of the time you just end up getting thrown into another forge match when what you really wanted to do was head to the Tower. And even that is problematic because you end up abandoning an event that others might be wanting to pursue/continue... but then people leave for that very reason I mentioned earlier.
