A case for banning certain weapons in Gambit

I know that when people call for nerfs or other serious revisions of weapons that are ridiculously unbalanced, it's often met with screaming and raging from entitled snobs who think that they're gods because they can abuse OP guns for easy wins or K/D or whatever. But if you're not here just to blindly rage against change in the interest of fairness, here's what I got: I think some guns should be banned in some game types. The framework is already there with locking loadouts, it's entirely possible to just not allow people to enter a queue or switch to a certain weapon while in game. Why? Because some guns are so good that its literally game breaking for the team that has to fight against them. Case in point: The Queenbreaker. It's actually the cheesiest thing I've ever seen. Its ability to stick to heads, one shot even on the faster setting, and murder multiple people within seconds of invading is disgusting, but this is intensified by the problem of invaders having overshields and spawning at ranges where they can easily hit shots, but not be damaged. I'm so sick of getting instakilled by this weapon and having good games ruined by people who like to headglitch or camp spawns. I have the gun, I've used it, and I've seen just how easy it is to get 4, 5, 6, or even more kills in an invasion by doing next to nothing. Yeah, I get it, it's an exotic, and everybody who uses it to bully teams for easy wins is gonna call me names for bringing it up, but it's unacceptable for Bungie to introduce weapons that break the game and not quickly fix the issue, or at least temporarily ban them until a rework can be put out. I know a ban is pretty extreme, but I think it's the best option because 1. It 100% guaranteed keeps the weapon from unbalancing the game, at least until it can be adjusted. 2. It means that it is not affected in performance, meaning that it can still be used effectively in other game modes (I do LIKE the weapon, it's incredibly fun in PvE and, while just as strong in Crucible, is manageable because it's a heavy weapon). 3. It means that people who abuse weapons to easily crank out quests, triumphs, etc, will be forced to change up their loadout and actually put the intended amount of work into something. I don't know why I didn't see as much rage about this as there was Sleeper, especially considering that Sleeper is a gun that everyone can easily obtain now, but Queenbreaker embodies all of the problems of Sleeper multiplied, save for instant huge Primeval damage. Maybe it's just because not as many people have the gun, or that people are hesitant to call it out because of all the toxicity, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a problem with it. This isn't the only gun I have grievances with in certain settings, but I wanted to use this as an example because it's extremely prevalent right now, and is extremely frustrating (especially when paired with the ridiculously high usage of bots on console right now). I would honestly love to see some other solutions for this problem. Exotic heavy weapons in general are a big problem for Gambit right now, and like I said, I know this is an extreme response to that, but if we're not gonna get balance updates at a decent rate, this is a good band-aid. Let me know what you guys think, and I'd be glad to have an actual civil discussion about it.
