This is a tactic I've seen some very smart teammates use in Gambit and I have to say, it really seems to being working. Don't kill the Wizards, don't use any Power Weapons, Supers or the IKELOS shotty.
Simply sit in the back of the spawn and shoot the Primeval with Auto Rifles. Slow and steady wins the race afterall.
Also, remember to let the Invader kill you any chance you get.

Here's another tip for winning... If you have 12 motes and your team of blueberries only needs 4 to summon the primeval, hold onto those motes! Banking them is too obvious of a strategy, you're just playing right into the opposing team's hands. Run around and try to find the invader if there is one, if not wait for them to show up. A good melee beating will show them who's the boss.

This will keep them distracted while your teamates are gathering motes trying to catch up. Also, never bank anything less than 15 motes. Go big or go home. I've also heard that it's good luck to pop your super, grenade, and class ability in the waiting room. This is a secret tactic that causes the AI to glitch and summon more high value targets once the round starts. Another tip, if you're invading, make sure you sit and wait by the bank the entire round until the portal opens. You'll be sure to get the early jump on them this way. Do the above steps and you'll be a Dredgen in no time.

My favorite: ignore the blockers. Clear all three zones, repeatedly wiping and losing motes. Then try to bank the 3 you have while the bank is literally surrounded by a wall of blockers. Last match I played, was with a 3 stack and they wouldn't kill blockers. Ever.

1 返信You guys think this is a joke but check this out. If you actually don’t do ANY damage to the wizards, I mean not even their shields, you do actually get a bonus to your damage. It comes into effect after getting the primevil 1/4 of the way down in health. This is serious. Not joking. You’ll see a pop up in the left hand bottom corner that says ‘focused damage x2’ and it will give you a massive damage boost. Much more than killing the wizards. You’ll be able to absolutely melt the primevil now as though it were essentially just a high value target. You’re welcome

And half way through the announcement, you die to Queensbreaker

Oh, and here's the kicker, NEVER EVER use ANY void supers or void weapons to break the shields on any of the wizards or boss...that's stupid. Use solar or arc, THAT'LL break the shield fast. In fact, don't even HAVE your super ready for the primeval killing stage. Just pop that sucker on a few ads and rely on simple weapons to beat the primeval. Trust me, it works EVERY TIME!
