It’s a game of seconds when you’re opponents prime is out, or you’re that close yourself. With melting point and hammers plus an immediate blade barrage, your prime would already be dead.
Agreed in principle though. It’s what I do, if seeing my teammate not banking his 11, when we just need 3 or 4 more. But, Usually by the time I push adds and collect the 4 needed, the opposing team’s prime is already dead. We had beat them to the punch, if our mate would have banked though.
Bounties and triumphs are more important than winning to a large portion of the solo queue crowd.
It’s not my scene, if I’m in the game, I’m in it to win it. You’ll never get the malfeasance quest if you choose not to try and win. Ever.
Agreed, and I’m a fan of matchmaking for all activities, including end game pve and pvp. Matchmaking, no headsets, works just fine in ffxiv, wonder why our community is so vastly different.
There's plenty of reasons. Destiny walks the line between shooter and MMO, so even though the communities cross at times, we all have very different ideas of how to game.
