1 返信Very good move! I don't know how to fix it but the main issues I had with it were; it seemed easier in most cases to let the other team take middle and defend. Either by camping your own vault or spawn trapping the other team. I also didn't like all the safety features, sudden death and other time extentions, the round needs a definitive end to it.

[b] Ways that could Fix Breakthrough's Rounds [/b] • Have a total Round limit, similar to Gambit's round system. Instead of best of 3 its best of 5. (This would eliminate the infinite round issues) • If the Round Ends in a Draw, the match can end in a draw depending on how the other rounds go. • Even having a life limit similar to survival will eliminate the infinite round issues. [b] Other Ideas for the Game Mode [/b] •Allow the Defending Team to be able to "Defuse the Breaker" in the middle of the map (Similar to Salvage) This would be difficult for the defenders because the attackers spawn near that area, if the defenders "Defuse" the breaker, they win the round. •If the defending team's vault is captured up to 70%, all the attackers are killed, and the capture returns to 0% the Defenders should be given the round win. • Defenders gain an over-shield while standing in their own vault, this would balance out the disadvantage of being on your vault. (Bannerfall's vault placement is very harsh on the defenders, the Attackers gain the Height advantage as well as heavy spawn.)

Well, that's a shame. I liked whenever it came up on the comp rotation. To be fair, though - I've never experienced the reason they removed it. Every team I've went up against played the objective. It's good that they're taking a look at it if it was that much of a bad player experience.

1 返信I actually like it. Just tweak it similar to overwatch. Like to stop the farming once people are on a point put a limit to how many times people can die or maybe a cap time increase. Or a timer for the point in general if they don’t cap it in time they lose so people don’t farm.

Breakthrough is a lot of fun but it doesn’t belong in the competitive playlist Can’t we get a competitive playlist that doesn’t l effect Glory ranks so I can still play these game modes without wanting to hang myself when I get solo matched with a full clan ...?

9 通の返信Haven’t played in 2 weeks. It’s sad to see how things are going for an expansion that had so much promise and looked like the old Destiny. Looking like not buying the season pass was a good financial decision. 😢

3 通の返信Breakthrough is pretty much the most fun I’ve had in the crucible since Destiny 2 launched. More objective-focussed modes are always good! That said, the scoring system can be exploited at this point in time. Lots of ways that could be fixed though. - award a point for capping the breaker - make capping the breaker a not-loss condition by not awarding points for successful vault defence - institute a sudden death situation if the breaker hasn’t been claimed in ~3 minutes, meaning the first team to cap it wins

Breakthrough was a different objective gamemode and I throughly enjoyed it. However from my personal experience, I feel that it didn’t promote people to initially capture the breaker but just to sit and defend vault. The concept is great but I’d like to see more reason to capture a breaker because I feel like whoever capture the breaker is at a pseudo disadvantage. However one thing I don’t like is the possibility of spawn killing. Whenever I fail to capture a the breaker for different reasons (this being mostly bc I solo queue) I feel sorta useless because not far from spawn enemies are waiting near my vault with shotties or supers.

1 返信Change how overtime works Change spawn times depending on map (maps like bannerfall have way to long respawns and distance from obj) Idea: change the score to seven, but if you capture the middle, you get one point, if you capture the vault, you get a second point, but if you do not capture the vault, the other team gets a point. Again, speed up respawns with this, but also capture time a bit. I feel like this will just make the game more dynamic. I also thought that giving three points per round for taking the vault might help a bit.
