With the release of forsaken crucible definitely took a step in the right direction with the weapon system but it's known that shotguns is the meta at the moment we aren't asking for a nerf to shotgun don't murder everything the community complains about like in destiny 1 but instead listen to the buffs people are recommending. For example nerf the flinch and or increase the base handling for snipers. For fusion rifles they seem a bit out of place due to the inconsistency the only fusion really worth using at the moment is telesto definitely balance special weapons to make them all be relevant in the meta. Next the matchmaking is a mess not the connection but skill based matchmaking. I haven't been running into to much lag but I've experienced the grind for luna's howl I've hit fabled as a solo player the thing with matching Especially in competitive is that I'll be at let say 750 in competitive rank but I'll be placed against a three stack all with luna's howl which requires the players I'm playing against to be at least 2100 which much higher what I've been placed and it only gets worse after you hit fabled. With all this being said will any of this be fixed in November? Or will we have to wait for a DLC to launch for pvp changes? I would say this month but it's already a huge month for destiny cant ask for too much. Bungie please don't make the same mistake of ignoring the unbalanced meta for too long like in destiny 1. P.S: Thank you for anyone who actually read my rant all the way through. I appreciate it more than you know. Hopefully someone from bungie actually reads this.

3 通の返信It's not the game mode in my opinion. It's the map design. They're terrible. There's a couple good ones if that but the balancing players need compare to what they get aren't really fit for this mode. I enjoy competitive but the map designs have to be better.

1 返信The best suggestion I've heard so far is to change it to a point system. Capping center gives 1, and getting the second gives another. If you lose the first point, you are playing defense to keep the opponent from scoring a second point. This forces that first cap to be vital, as it is the only way to actually win a match. After the breaker is captured, the clock should be ticking. Attackers have just a few minutes to cap the second point. Then just make it first team to four points. Two shut-out rounds end a match, but even if the first point is lost you can easily come back if you take both points the next round. -A Guardian that prefers objective PVP to kill focused.

5 通の返信While you're at it fix the horrendous spawns in General. There should be no reason why I should respawn 10 ft from the guy who previously killed me. It has happened to me a couple times.

Yo dmg, imo, the easiest fix, though not a perfect one, is make breaking opponents vault the only way to win. And if you defend your vault, either a draw or it resets first point. Just one guardians thoughts.

1 返信Go on and do the community a favour and leave it out of the whole game it is literally the most horrible PVP mode in Destiny history (neck and neck with D2 trials)

1 返信Yeah thanks Bungie now it will take me 40 plus years to do hand cannon kills. Countdown is a mess and the maps are so small with so many angles to be shot from its near idiotic to use a primary

5 通の返信Why wasn't it put in labs instead to begin with? I thought that was the whole point of labs, or was it just put in to show that you can make fun modes but won't actually put them in the game?

Also, the game mode, aside from the potential endless battles, needs some [i]serious[/i] tweaking. I’ve no idea why it was placed in Competitive so quickly after its creation. It seemed pretty clear to me that it was in rough shape after trying it as a standalone playlist. Played a few, said “Oh, this needs to be re-made for sure”, listened to my friends spawn kill people into them getting 100+ kills as I avoided the game mode like the plague, then got a rude awakening when I saw it in the Competitive playlist. Mistakes like these can be avoided. Don’t green light something like this without addressing its problems first.
