And I'm not talking about the wave that's sent out. Specifically only an enemy in close proximity. It's only fair since titans can do exactly that as well, plus they have insurmountable skullfort to just keep the one shots coming.
Edit: To clarify, when I said one shot kill in close range, I mean like physical contact range, like you'd be for a regular melee

12 通の返信Titans are a melee based class it doesn't make sense for a cheetah to hit as hard as an elephant. And for warlocks well space magic bro.

2 通の返信They say hunters are meant for agility but I get outrun by other classes. Titan 1 hit melee need to go it’s absurd. Either all classes have 1 hit melee and infinite supers or no one does.

3 通の返信Yeah, I think so. And I also think that the explosive throwing knife should one shot if you hit a headshot. Not the returning one or the new one though, as that would probably be too strong

2 通の返信Nope, having more than one class that can get a one shot ability from doing something you do anyways would be cancer, at least warlocks can't run around with the handheld super nova waiting to use it

1 返信I main a hunter. So while I’m against this new ability one hit KO’ing someone, I’d like to address that the ability’s auto tracking is a bit broken in the fact that it fails to realign the camera during the animation which causes a bit of confusion for me, also having to slide before you can activate the melee is a bit much seeing as I’ve failed to get it to prompt even though I’ll press the crouch button just before the ability and it fails to activate and just prompts a general melee. I’d like this ability to be a bit more enticing to use but making it one shot is not the best approach.

2 通の返信As a Titan with a sense of fairness... Yes, I'll allow it. But I don't think that any melee should kill us in a super. I'm looking at you hand held 😠

8 通の返信I'd be OK with it if they took a nerf to dodge in some way, like longer cool down. The hunter class is the most used class in crucible primarily because they're the most evasive through their quick use of dodge and vertical space through their jump. They're not meant to be a powerhouse class, they're meant to be a fast get-in get-out type of playstyle which is how most use them successfully. Adding a OHK attack doesn't make a lot of sense unless you're going to nerf their maneuverability but I think most would rather have better locomotion.

Depends. If Titan shoulder charge didn't one shot kill when I'm in the air and the Titan is in the air then I think it would be fine. But since it does perhaps the uppercut should one-shot kill, only at close range.

I would say no, but also yes? Ill clarify So the way I feel is that crucible is set up such that the only natural OHK possibilities are with heavy ammo weapons. Gotta fight for that ammo, if you get it, youre rewarded with a couple rounds one shot kills. Melee abilities are just on a recharge, just gotta wait to get it back. So, have one piece of exotic gear for each class (ie titans skullfort) that turns one melee ability into an OHK after a certain set up (like titans sprint time or hunters slide). So if you want that OHK melee you have to be willing to: 1) give up your exotic slot to it and 2) commit to using the subclass specified The “set up” would have to be noticible as well if you want that reward of one oneshotting someone from full health and shields TL:DR You need the gear piece, use its specified subclass ability, and be able to reliably set up requirements. No class should have it naturally. Melees should primarily be “openers or finishers” like the hunters throwing knife was described in d1 grimoire

51 通の返信Truthiness_Incにより編集済み: 10/1/2018 8:19:12 PMOk then you should have to sprint for 2 seconds to do it though. I think you're thinking about this power wrong though. You slide in and uppercut, then gambler's dodge and get your uppercut back and melee them. Then you do it again to someone else. Alternately I believe you cab slide shotgun and in the same slide still uppercut after that for an instant kill. The hunters having so many advantages in dodging and jump mechanics means giving them a OHK melee makes them the best choice. Bungie doesn't want this.

4 通の返信SpicyCurryO_Oにより編集済み: 10/2/2018 6:46:06 PMI don’t think so... I tagged 3 people with an arcbolt then flung that Arc Wave at them and killed all of them.... It would be insane around corners if it had one shot capability. I rarely see Warlocks and Titans getting multi-kills with Handheld Supernova and Shoulder Charge. I think it’s really good paired with Frosties, and a shotgun

4 通の返信I mean, yea. Its only reasonable considering a void super powered knife upper cut would certain disembowel and decapitate almost anything.
