Exotics are just a Lil too rare.
Yep I know they'll be those out there that just love to grind for everything, but there's grind and there's GRIND.
I don't mind the grind if I can see a Lil light at the end of the tunnel, like the grind for the Chaperone or Ace of spades, you know if you work at it, and succeed we'll be rewarded.
But with things the way they are now, In theory you could play every day for a year and never get a new exotic, just repeats from year one.😬
Something about this needs a tweak, as all it'll eventually breed is contempt and anger toward the constant repeat drops, and lack of new ones, Edge transit comes to mind, two Prime engrams yesterday, both decrypt into that garbage.
If Bungie can quickly fix the Sleeper due to minor complaints, they should hurry up and fix this as there are literally thousands online complaining, roll on Elder Scrolls 6 and Anthem; save me from this pointless unrewarding grind.

I never got the ice breaker, lord of Wolves, queenbreaker and so many exotics in D1 and I put in nearly 1000 hours. You're not entitled to anything. It's week three, you might not get anything at first and then in week 5 the flood gates open. In time it all evens out. Complaining three weeks in though...

I'm happy with the drop rate but I'll agree make it so we dont get duplicates and we need to bring back glass needles At least that way we can reroll our exotics to make them better our playstyle as some rolls on them are pure garbage

Like some have said, if they insist on keeping the drop rates low then when you finally get one it should be something you don’t have guaranteed. Nothing is worse than playing/ grinding for hours/ weeks and then your first drop is COLDHEART or FIGHTING LION. Its really stupid. Also Xur useless now. Let him sell new exotics but up the Legendary Shards cost or give him quest lines like someone mentioned. It’s gonna be a month soon and the way it’s looking I still won’t have a new exotic (Ace & LoW don’t count)

I don’t know whether they haven’t stealth upped the drops you know. Either that or I’ve had a drastic upturn in luck. Forsaken launch - Saturday 1 exotic total. Saturday until Monday evening - 3 exotics including 2 year 2 ones.

3 通の返信Bungie only fixes things that some consider fun. If it would be of great benefit to the community, Bungie just ignores it. I personally have NO IDEA what ANY of the new exotics are? I haven’t gotten one, nobody I know has gotten one, nobody in my clan has a forsaken exotic. So, NONE of us have actually seen one. I’ve heard of the rocket launcher that fires 2 rockets, and actually one of my clan mates does have that one, he posted a pic of it. Other than that, I have ZERO clue about what exotics are new in forsaken. I guess that’s Bungie a plan. Keep people guessing LOL

It needs to be upped just abit. I literally do dreaming City milestones and don't bother with the rest now. Not worth it for 1 light higher or most the time lower than what I have on but if we had a decent chance of getting a exotic I'd do it. Also no masterwork cores in fusion would make it worth it to.

4 通の返信I was LITERALLY just saying the same thing to myself, as I just turned my system off for the night from playing. Played on all 3 characters today, and been playing since forsaken launch. ZERO forsaken exotics. Just insane. I love the "rarity", but this is insane. Seriously. We all have a life outside of this game. To have these exotics this rare is just like being in a hamster wheel while playing. They need to find a happy medium at this point. Can't go from finding them in abundance, to just no drops at all.

A good grind WILL reward time and effort (and should also be fun and engaging). Examples: the Redrix's Broadsword, or Luna's Howl quests, or even the Infinite Forge weapons. Put in time and effort and you will be rewarded. The exotic grind does not reward time and definitely not effort. The one new exotic weapon drop I've gotten was Lord of Wolves and that was from a Spider Wanted bounty (and not even the difficult one). The current system is a roulette machine. Honestly, if Xur's Isochronal engram worked for year 2 exotics, but cost way more then I'd have no problem. Maybe being strange coins back, and Xur offers bounties which reward strange coins.

1 返信I agree. I dont want them to flow like water, but if they are going to pull a carrot and stick, there needs to be a carrot. Right now we're just getting hit with a stick.

14 通の返信I’ve put in 200 hours since forsaken while I have the time off to grind. I’ve kept track. 19 exotic drops. 18 were duplicates. At this point Bungie is wasting our time.

8 通の返信Someone did the calculation with drop rates and duplicates. With the current system it takes about 5 years grinding 40 h / week to get all new forsaken exotics. But I guess this is what our streamer overlords wanted when they talked with Bungie.

Ive played so much, honestly too much since the expansion has dropped and I just keep getting duplicates. No, I have not received a single year 2 exotic. Only ace of spades which is non-rng. I’ve gotten 16 duplicates in a row.

Yeah, the whole RNG in this games needs a significant tweak to be honest. I cashed in 2000 Crucible tokens on one character and I could even get a full set of armor but omg the number of sidearms I got, well I could have overthrown a small country. LOL

2 通の返信The RNG for catalysts even worse. For example I got the catalyst for Crimson the second day of Warmind, I know a guy who has not got the catalyst for Crimson yet, so his chances to get the catalyst in Forsaken is very bleak. Catalyst need to have a measured attainable goal so if the RNG fails to drop in a timely manner that is still a way to get the catalyst. perhaps completing a large number of Bounties in a certain amount of time or some other realistically achievable activity.
