MASTERWORKS ECONOMY IS BROKEN,

[b]Now let me explain why I say this[/b]. Normally in an ingame economy there is a loop that gives and takes to create a balance of effort vs reward. The problem is the requirement to master work a piece of gear or weapon is way way too high. Having a requirement by the time you get to Tier 3 or 4 that each level requires a core does not balance considering that you will need maybe 10+ cores to get some weapons to Tier 10. 1. Firstly destroying a master work weapon gives 1 master work core (yes it's supposed to drop 1-3 but yeah not really happens) 2. Spider sells cores but the first core is 10 shards, then the next is 20, then 40. So by the 4th you are at a cost of 80 shards or (10+20+40+80=150) only 4 cores not enough for 2 tiers. 3. Destroying a Legendary most of the time gives 1 shard 95% of the time. This goes back to the point number 2 where 150+ shards requirement for a Tier 10 upgrade. 4. Legendaries are almost non existent in terms of drops. Dreaming city only drops blues and the chest around the maps only drop Baryon.So no source of Legendaries to farm for shards. 5. Masterwork items don't drop anymore, I say that because there has been no items dropping as a masterwork as in year one. So there is NO source of cores outside of Spider selling. So that is why the economy is broken. They wanted to Limit Masterworks to be special but they priced it to the point that it's not even something to chase. A tier 10 weapon would be nice but not worth it. if you decide to get a better one destroying it giving you back 1 core is ridiculous. The solution could possibly be that masterworking should only require materials for the first few tiers and only for the final Tier 10 conversion require a core. This will have the weapon have some lore to say i "crafted it". Using a core on the final stage makes sense as a "Masterwork element requirement". Legendaries should drop more often and stop it with the constant blues. The Well should only drop Legendaries and chest in the Dreaming City should drop better loot at the very least 1-3 should at least drop a legendary. I can farm for hours there and never see a Legendary drop but yet this is a requirement for masterwork cores. I play maybe 8 hrs on weekends per day and 4hrs on weekdays per day since DLC launch. 578 Guardian.
