i appreciate that they're doing this but i also expected them to do something like this as i feel it is the right move for a business to make.
i didn't necessarily think you meant it to be negative, but we are both entitled to the game they promised wether you feel that way or not. and to my analogy, if you pay money to see a movie in a theater but something happens causing the movie not to air properly and if it is completely the fault of the theater then you should most certainly expect some kind of refund or reimbursement.
and i don't need to justify anything since bungie clearly knows they messed up and they are trying to rectify it.
Fixing the glitch so it doesn't recur is the only thing I expected personally, but I do appreciate them trying to make amends (which is all this is). It's a show of "good faith" imo.

I understand why you feel this analogy works, but it's a flawed comparison. The game was not unplayable. It was effectively a very minor issue that much of the playerbase never even noticed. Your analogy implies every person in the theater was equally impacted. A movie is also a "1 shot" experience, which we all know this game isn't.
I don't feel you're "wrong" for holding you view, I simply disagree. You seem to think i'm "wrong" for my view of it, which is also totally fair and okay in my book. I just enjoy discussion, and I truly believe Bungie tries hard to support their community, despite how vitriolic and nasty it is at a high clip.

I agree, but you did anyways.
